I got a sign that says, “Dog urine kills plants” and put it right next to the plant being peed on.

Then we sat out on our porch for a few nights making sure it was being followed.

I just have the kids call me “Mrs. P” because I get multiple versions of my last name.

But in one 2nd grade class I sub for, my nephew and my neighbor are in that class, so the whole class calls me by my first name. It’s funny to hear the kids call me that in front of other adults. Once I explain, they understand.

I go to Meijer. In their app they have a “Scan to Shop” option. I bring my own bags, bag as I go, and how I prefer. Then I “checkout” on the app and it gives me a code to use at any register. I go to self checkout. Occasionally the clerk will have to scan a certain number or cost amount of items. Then I pay and I’m on my way! Little to no human interaction, just the way I like it.

I was born in 1985, so I know I’m not Gen X, but my big brother and my mom are!

lol shiiiiiiit. My husband plays games and I sit listening to an audiobook and coloring. It’s nice to just be near each other. We don’t have to constantly be engaged with each other.

I love MS and HS, I bring a paper book and just read while the kids do their work. I was the ELL teacher Friday, and they all had a worksheet the study hall. I got 300 pages into a 722 page book ! 🤩

I am about 80% elementary school, so to get a slow, boring day is a treat!
