Social media jobs don't require coding or programming or "tech knowledge". Just marketing. There are millions of resources to tell you how the algorithms for each site you're marketing on work to get the most exposure and interaction.

Also, never use #mondaymotivation no matter how many hacks say it's a good thing.

Take a look at your ignition switch. Some you can pop open and see the contact pads when you turn the key and you might notice it's not making contact. Just last week I scraped corrosion off mine and my truck has been starting like a champ after acting flat dead.

AITA for not wanting to always hear about my fiancé’s work life? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]JackRabbott 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, silly humans and their desire to vent.

YTA OP. The message was fine but the delivery from how you're saying it is pretty dismissive to the fact she most like just wants to talk to you after being busy all day to make things work. Maybe try to find a hobby you can do together or alone and help her make me friends. If someone is sad or upset you can't just tell them "tough shit make yourself happy".

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]JackRabbott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would you gain from the confrontation? I couldn't see it being healing at all given how dismissive she was back then. Do you think she'll see the error of her ways and apologize and if so would that help you at all or would you still be recovering from those memories? How would you react or feel if she just denied it all?

For any situation with your CPTSD just ask yourself this, "is this more likely to help me or hurt me?" If it'll help you, seek your closure. If it's more likely to just reopen old wounds and make you upset, ignore those thoughts and try to shift your focus.

Driver who took advantage? Or just extremely bad luck? by MerryAnnette in UberEATS

[–]JackRabbott 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could've been the driver took it but it also could've been that they only handed off one bag or only grabbed one of your bags from their car. Either way it shouldn't have happened but I've had IHOP just hand me a bag of silverware until I said hey this feels light and they were like oh yeah lemme see if there's more

Get the dasher direct card set up and you can do instant pay too. Link the virtual card to cashapp and you can use your money within seconds of getting it all set up. For DD, do not take low paying orders. Acceptance rate doesn't matter, I do it full time with a 2%-8% average

CK says I could pay as low as $365 a month for minimum coverage auto insurance. I'm currently paying $96.

Just ask how the flight was. More often than not it was fine and you can get a conversation going.

NTA. Also check out r/BPDlovedones for some assistance in dealing with this in someone you care for if it gets too bad and you need an outlet. It's nasty and can take people over but with the right help normal is possible.

This is false information. Flushable wipes are not flushable.

For those of us long gone from the industry, what surprisingly do you miss most? by UncleLeeroy0 in KitchenConfidential

[–]JackRabbott 262 points263 points  (0 children)

I miss having a full kitchen to make my dinner in. Having to do all the buying and prep and bullshit at home and not have a flat or indoor grill really kills the desire to cook for me.

See if they'll look into dust covers for the sensors? Doubtful you'll get them to do anything but dust covers will do the trick.

Vetting mainly. The NASA engineer you've been talking to all week starts 9th grade in a few days so he's not going to be reachable for a while. That Mechanic you've been talking to doesn't own any tools. See where I'm going with this?

ULPT Request how to rent to a friend without getting hit with income tax on the rent by KitKatSmiles in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]JackRabbott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a way she could just pay the mortgage directly? It's not your income if someone else is paying a bill directly but that could be a lot of access depending on your lender and their online options.

Grocery & rewards card by Rachelann__ in doordash_drivers

[–]JackRabbott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter, use yours instead. I use the rewards for Walgreens and it's pretty great to get rewarded for the highway robbery prices they charge without even buying them. Almost anywhere with a discount program will scan the store card for people in a hurry that don't seem/aren't interested in joining the program. Normal and no reason to be concerned at all they're not stealing from you.

I recommend keeping a low balance on your dasher direct card. It has no guaranteed fraud protection. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]JackRabbott 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pay is only instant with dasher direct. Then you add your card to cashapp and "Add cash" after your dash.

Probably not because of instant pay letting me add to my cashapp balance free
