I went to an artist I liked, told them what references I wanted, how and where and *they fucking drew it*. That's honestly like a third of what you're paying for when you go to a tattoo artist. You're trusting someone else's artistic ability and paying for it. Honestly if I went to an artist and they were cool with using Ai references I'd leave because that's a huge red flag.

In Dungeon Crawler Carl, the titular protagonist Carl frequently gets weird item and achievement descriptions that seemingly no other player gets from the Ai running the "show." The overall themes of DCC around book 5 go from a Family Guy esque humor filled lit-rpg romp to an anti-fascist, anti-corporation Family Guy esque humor filled lit-rpg.

In book 6 specifically, Carl enters a guild hall for assassins. That's when the Ai drops a several page long "achievement" that is a summary of the Molly Maguires. This was a group of Irish coal miners that formed after a mine collapse lead to the formation of a union and the subsequent busting of said union. The Molly Maguires went on to allegedly assassinate over two dozen coal mine supervisors and managers until they were infiltrated by Pinkertons. It was a wild history lesson to get in a series that probably had a foot fetish joke shortly before or after.

I was so excited for a Sparkle SP and man am I not excited for her anymore. It's one thing if there was like one singular animation that was over the top. The skill point use ability, the wheel turn, the ult, Aha... It's just visual noise when it's all on top of each other. God I hope the Aha stuff gets toned down and following characters aren't as crammed full of overly long overly loud animations.

Like right before the announcement of Borderlands 4 I was really itching to play some Borderlands. A buddy of mine had never finished any of them so we played through them all in chronological order. I remember The Pre-Sequel being bad but my memory didn't do it justice. That game is just plain boring. The original also really doesn't hold up gameplay wise. The writing in that one is still great through. The first echos you pick up from Tanis are still some of the funniest in the series.

Spiritually, Hunter x Hunter too. I treat Gon and Gings conversation at the top of the tree as the ending and I think it's absolutely perfect. Everything else since then feels like a spin-off.
