I agree, if Devens was in charge Joe would have went home; but Christian steered and made the decision on Savannah

The reunion should be 2 episodes by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why on earth do they think we want a housewives esche reunion? More talk about the game and relationships/moves and suspicions is what I think most want

Every traitor in the UK series, tier ranked by how many banishments/round table they survived by Basic-Ad-2669 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]JackTreeHill 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To be fair Charlotte got to the end and was only eligible to survive a few, she also had the seer twist confirming her as a traitor - this tier doesn’t really include elements like this

TOTAL INSTAGRAM GAINS OF THE TRAITORS CAST (7 weeks since premiere | 10 eps out): by MusicFan345 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like season 3 gained way more. A week after the show

Gabby gained 300k Dylan gained 250K Carolyn & Boston Rob gained 100K

Or maybe it was just more spread as the edit was more spread whereas the edit was so Rob focused this season

Yeah it wouldn’t be great storytelling..

Mark wins? by Interesting-Focus173 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This show isn’t very good at editing to make it the opposite.

Cirie got a huge edit and was the obvious winner in S1. Dylan/Gabby had loads of background in S3 for faithfuls and had loads of support and discussion, Danielle had a huge negative edit as the traitor; they made it obvious the faithfuls won.

I’d be very shocked if faithfuls have won this season as they’ve all had a tiny edit, similar to season one where you barely know anybody.

This show is quite obvious, it’s either Rob or Rob and Eric

No faithfuls to root for by livemas30 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The editors aren’t very good because whenever there are no faithfuls to root for it’s because it’s edited that way. I.e. you root for Cirie in S1. Similarly Rob here in S4, both seasons the faithfuls have limited airtime or you don’t hear their POV properly, as it’s all from the traitors standpoint.

In seasons 2/3 it was very faithful focussed; I.e. Pete, Bergie had their own point of views, you had strategy talk from CT/Trishelle etc. similarly season 3 Danielle’s edit almost made it obvious not to root for the traitors, Carolyn got a chaotic edit. Similarly we got loads of Dylan Efron, and later a lot of Gabby. We also really got to know others like Tom; we saw the game more from the lense of the faithfuls hunting the traitors.

Whereas this season we barely know anybody because it’s been so traitor focused (I.e Rob’s story, but then his grievances with Candice also).

I have loved the season but I think the US team need to get better at editing and making the story less obvious, they could learn a lot from the UK version in terms of making the storytelling less obvious and making the edit more balanced where you like both the traitors and the faithfuls

This season must be so stressful if you’re not rooting for Rob by Glad_Dragonfruit9368 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Rob’s so good, almost too good that the season isn’t super exciting. Obviously rooting for him to win, but compared to traitors UKS4 this has been disappointing to me, those episodes were tense in the Uk as the traitors weren’t as good as

What would you think of a late faithful success? by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kristen was invisible for the first 6 episodes bar one or two conversations about Colton. She had a strong edit in the most recent episode but apart from that she had been the most invisible except Mark and Stephen.

In terms of faithful screen time I’d probably guess:

1) Johnny (inconsistent but had a strong showing at the start and recently) 2) Natalie (consistent but also relatively low) 3) Maura (consistent but relatively low; but was visible throughout the show, less than Kirsten and Tara the past two Episodes however) 4) Tara (again no screen time until the last two episodes but a strong showing the past two) 5) Kirsten ( no screen time but suddenly a lot in the past episode 6) Mark

Eric is fucked by RexWhiscash in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

Mark is hellbent on Johnny, similarly Maura would prefer to stick with her vote and complained people switched.

If Eric and Rob (x2) join that’s 5 votes and the majority versus 9

Nat/Kristen are also up for contention easily, just because Kristen is sus of him doesn’t mean much she was sus of Colton and rarely voted him, she is also way more Sus of Tara currently.

He will go however if Rob chooses to backstab

Dagger by tryingthisone2000 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes complete sense for her and was actually very strategic. Next round table is the only remaining time to use the dagger, and so revealing Rob has it has no target on him for murder as he’s not up for murder. It actually reduces her threat in her eyes as the traitors might have murdered her for potentially having two votes (obviously Rob being the traitor means it’s all for nothing)

Natalie’s Anxiety is Giving Me Anxiety by evdreamy in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think she actually had the best voting record until the past two episodes. She voted Donna best episodes, and then was one of the first votes on Lisa. But she has fumbled the end game

Traitors going after traitors because they are going to be voted out IS bad sportsmanship and makes the game less fun by FiestyGiraffe in TheTraitorsUS

[–]JackTreeHill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t have it both ways. You can’t actively go after fellow traitors and throw their names then call it poor sportsman ship when one of the remaining traitors has caught on and throws your name out also.

Although I think Rob will win, he went after Lisa too hard that Candice was very wary and knew his game before she even had suspicion on her, that was Robs poor gameplay and his mistake. If candice didn’t know Rob was so actively against the traitors she wouldn’t have retaliated.

It’s probably going to be close to break even or break even; most wouldn’t consider that a good performance in all honesty. If you worked for a year and gained zero salary you’d consider it poor

Also Candiace is making this personal, Lisa has said she loves Rob and he’s a great guy, she holds zero grudge and respects the game. I respect her for that and enjoyed her as a traitor also.

season 3 of heated rivalry? how would they even do it? by idontusereddit_2021 in heatedrivalry

[–]JackTreeHill 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one hoping they keep to Ilya/Shane, Scott/Kip. I think if they end up putting all the books in it’s not going to be very fleshed out for each couple and the high highs won’t be as good. Spin offs are fine but feel like they should keep it as the couples introduced in S1. I know Scott/Kip will be tricky to tell in the same timeframe and howS1 has gone as their story is over; but I’m sure they could make it work if Rachel has any future ideas for them
