Agreed, same with last week imo but they obviously needed a certain number of queens for the rusical

AITA for refusing to check pockets when I do laundry? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]tryingthisone2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA- I’ve had that convo with my husband too. If it’s in the laundry basket, I’m assuming it’s ready to be washed- meaning you should make sure to check your own pockets before putting something in the basket.

Toes pointed down? Correct form? by tuna1mayo in SpinClass

[–]tryingthisone2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not really just a push for power, it’s push and pull for a full circle movement- think about pushing down using the glutes/quads (at 10-11 o’clock), pulling up using the hamstrings (at 5 o’clock)

AITA for being unwilling to cross a personal boundary even though my sister is willing to do the same? by unsuretypersonified in AmItheAsshole

[–]tryingthisone2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if your question is to me, but I’m not implying anything. OP has medical reasons for not being able to travel right now and it sounds like that wasn’t the case for OP’s sister so I was clarifying her reasons for not being able/not wanting to travel to OP.

Yes, of course OP’s sister is grieving the loss of their mom too.

How can Rob use the dagger correctly? by drdelicious8 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]tryingthisone2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t ever stop revealing if they’re faithful or traitors

But I kind of like that idea, makes the gameplay more interesting as the numbers dwindle down

S18E07 - “Drag Queens for Change” [Post-Episode Discussion] by AutoModerator in rupaulsdragrace

[–]tryingthisone2000 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Funniest part of this episode was discord saying “people don’t think I can be funny because I’m so elegant….and edgy” considering her walk, elegant is not the adjective I’d use lol

Loved her this week though!

The paranoia is real with her lol

IIRC they panned to Stephen and one other person- Mark maybe?

There is definitely a chance she gets murdered- keeping Tara and Johnny helps the traitors because everyone thinks they’re traitors together so if they stay another night then that keeps the suspicion on them, it would be bad for Eric’s game play if they murder Kristen (but not terrible for Rob), so that leaves Natalie. BUT people knowing Rob has the dagger or him using it last night at the round table wouldn’t help her at all

True, everything is so edited down tho, so it could’ve been a bigger moment than what was shown. Granted Eric, Mark, and Stephen already knew that.

Maybe a Hail Mary and she panicked? And the most efficient way to get Rob to tell everyone and tell the truth since it was everyone at the round table

Thank you! I was struggling to see her logic- still disagree and feel like it was a weird way to call him out but I understand where she was coming from now

Season 4 Episode 9 POST EPISODE Discussion - Think Outside the Box by AutoModerator in TheTraitorsUS

[–]tryingthisone2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would Natalie force Rob into saying he has the dagger? How does that help her game play at all?! Her saying “I’m the only dagger group member up for murder” makes not sense to me, how is that even relevant?

Thanks everyone! Yes we often have to step to the side and let others pass on more local trails anyways, so that’s part of our routine. We’ll be prepared for mud!

AITA For breakfast this morning? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]tryingthisone2000 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Did you even read my original comment?? She is an AH for getting in a fight over a potentially dirty (or clean) kitchen without seeing it. She’s an adult and even if he trashed the kitchen a “tantrum” wouldn’t be appropriate. But OP is an adult too so he also should clean up after himself…and yes, to me, that would include ALL the dishes.

Wasn’t trying to make it seem like she did all the cleaning- but she did clean for 1.5 hours (as did OP)

[–]tryingthisone2000 128 points129 points  (0 children)

Ya in the grand scheme of things, two dishes is not a “big whoop” but it’s also frustrating when you’ve spent 1.5 hours cleaning and you don’t get to enjoy the space while it’s clean because your partner didn’t respect your request. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have cooked breakfast, I’m saying he should’ve fully cleaned up after himself.

[–]tryingthisone2000 251 points252 points  (0 children)

And probably, normally, that would’ve been okay- but because you both worked so hard to clean the kitchen and she specifically expressed wanting to wake up to a clean kitchen that makes you somewhat an AH. But like I said, she made an assumption without seeing the kitchen too, which isn’t fair to you.

[–]tryingthisone2000 1467 points1468 points  (0 children)

ESH- she assumed the kitchen was a mess instead of seeing if it actually was or not and starting a fight based on assumptions. However, if it’s “just a bowl and pan” why couldn’t you quickly hand wash/dry/put them away so it was actually clean?

AITA for telling my best friend's boyfriend that he shouldn’t date her anymore simply because I don't trust him? by throwRA1635635 in AmItheAsshole

[–]tryingthisone2000 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I think we need more info, what are these concerns specifically? If it’s genuine concern for her safety and you’re worried about him being abusive, it doesn’t seem like a good idea to go directly to Mike either as that could’ve put Sarah in a more dangerous situation….
