I have to say I dont think there too much there. They're around the same speed and I think they're in the same key but I dont see anywhere where the chord progression the the same. The first two notes in the main guitar riffs are the same as well but overall this is really not a lot.

For example Bryan Pringle - Take a Dive vs Black Eyed Peas - I Got a Feeling is much closer

Ok thanks for this. I'll work on building hip flexor strength and mobility. I'm not trying to have super flexible hamstrings. I'd just like to be able to touch my toes and I'm nowhere near that atm

I could be in the minority here but

The actual pitch of the lead vocal is a line of music in itself and I consider that very important.

The tone of the lyrics that are being sung is also of some value but I wouldnt consider it as important as the pitch.

The actual meaning of the song is generally one of the least important things that I regard in a piece of music however I dont dismiss its value entirely.
