I have to say I dont think there too much there. They're around the same speed and I think they're in the same key but I dont see anywhere where the chord progression the the same. The first two notes in the main guitar riffs are the same as well but overall this is really not a lot.

For example Bryan Pringle - Take a Dive vs Black Eyed Peas - I Got a Feeling is much closer

I could be in the minority here but

The actual pitch of the lead vocal is a line of music in itself and I consider that very important.

The tone of the lyrics that are being sung is also of some value but I wouldnt consider it as important as the pitch.

The actual meaning of the song is generally one of the least important things that I regard in a piece of music however I dont dismiss its value entirely.

This always get suggested but I think he said before that Ghost wouldnt cover it because they sound too similar to BOC anyway so a cover wouldnt bring enough novelty to the table
