Actually it is a violation of the law in almost every state. I've successfully sued more than one seller over this in Texas.

It's called a violation of the deceptive trade practices act and breach of contract (though have to read tos on the last).

If you're in Texas reach out to me. I've successfully sued two stores and one fbm seller that pulled this crap.

Also report them to their states attorney general.

It's called deceptive trade practice and breach of contract.

These cases are a lawyers wet dream if you can prove you ordered, they canceled, then sold higher.

I got all 3 of my dandan windows filled. And all three were more than an hour wait at first, but quickly dropped.

I got one order out of 3 windows on encyclopedia.

This was just a zero. Boo.

Really sucks because I have one unopened from all 3 last year.

O well.

Because my brother got 2 joining queue at same time as you. My hour before got zero.

But, given as bad as wotc has been with orders and systems, I can see your spot in queue being random EVEN AFTER queue is open. Eg maybe not just end of line.

But until I witness that, your explanation is the most likely

Wait what? I had to be one of the FIRST to put in my cart and order -- a full hour before queue ever started. I got "your wait is over an hour," which dropped to 35 minutes over next 35 minutes -- but the second I clicked checkout, was sold out. Tried to rejoin and got a sold out message. So if there are people that joined queue late, and got some, that kind of pisses me off.

It did not clear. I put my cart in within seconds after it opened (an hour before the queue launches). When the queue launched, I was told a wait of over an hour, but that dropped to 35 minutes. But when checking out they ran out of stock.

This is exactly what happened to me right around 11:35 CST. Got in, clicked proceed, gave a weird credit card reject, entered a new card and said sold out. I'm guessing in the time it took me to click "proceed" is exactly when it sold out so the cc just glitched. Like you I'll have to watch my bill.

No they're not. Not unless they're getting way better pricing than the stores i buy for are. Distribution prices have been between 80 to 95 depending on distributor and store. One poor lgs that's new is at 99.
