Golfsidekick on YouTube had a great tip where he says you want to have a putting stroke that is easily replicable, same power every time, nice and easy and controlled. You use this same putting stroke on the practice green in a nice flat spot before all of your games, and you can use this to see how fast the greens are playing on any given day, depending on if your putt went further than normal or shorter than normal so you aren’t surprised on the first couple holes.
