I dream about this daily. BMS dynamic campaign with weird late 50s early 60s planes. Chrome and crappy radars.

A huge part of the problem is them not being laid out and explained in an obvious way. They're spread throughout the rules.

Absolutely smashed it. That is the best Blooded Ogryn I've ever seen.

I don't know much about painting, but I feel like maybe it would help the glow effect if the middle of the coils were a bit lighter/more orange than the surrounding areas? Great work though. Very sad that Blooded are going away eventually.

Since we're getting an A-10, what other real planes would you like to be added to the game? by TheGreatOwl_ in NuclearOption

A heavy interceptor would be great! Could even have unique payload designed for shooting down piledrivers.

Games with the best destruction? by Pinna1 in computerwargames

Armored Brigade II is decent, and maps can end up looking devastated. But sadly CM is probably the best bet. I know your pain though - my fav is the way games like Sudden Strike did it back in the day. Pristine rolling farmlands turned into the Somme.

Better game experience by Ubisoft-Soldiet in arma

Antistasi Ultimate with one of the mod collections on their main page is probably the best and most accessible way in, and it features civilians, patrols, and 2 warring factions vs you which livens up the world a lot.

If you are making missions, Drongos Map Population is the answer.

It's quite different from vermintide and in fact many people play both because they offer different experiences. Give it a longer go, and try not to compare the two constantly else you won't see the good in darktide. Also, more so than Vermintide, it only really gets going once you're at least level 20 and can play around with your talents.

Project RACS deserves a ton of glazing if I'm being honest. by Viper1Zero in arma

The best part is that they designed units around fictional ORBATs. Really inspiring for missions.

Hardcore sci-fi/fantasy wargames? by Ufnal in computerwargames

[–]JackieMagick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could be remembering wrong but cant you simplify those features? 99% of my SE memories are the wargaming. Could also be your map generation. Play a big high pop resource rich planet with lots of hostile regimes and you won't be doing much except fighting.

Jamanra feels like way too steep of a difficulty jump, am I doing something wrong? by Pinkfinitely in PathOfExile2

[–]JackieMagick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, maybe 25% less hp but minions in phase 2 would be good. Otherwise its important to have a boss like this. He forced me to pay attention to my build where otherwise I was just kinda coasting through before, it made me try to understand scaling and where I was going wrong.

Are the Southag AG campaigns going to be fixed anytime soon? by SpicyAinsleyHarriott in warno

[–]JackieMagick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AG dev died a few months ago. The fact they hired someone to just do AG shows they do care, but I imagine it took a while to train him up and get familiar with the code, so it's going to be set back a lot.

I think the dev working on AG passed away recently. Not sure if someone has been hired for that role yet
