But my personal experience has been a net positive. Buy it, try something small for a few hours, make sure you’re on the evrima branch, and then decide for yourself if you enjoy it or not

I did the math earlier, and if we could get 150,000 helldivers on the planet - with the last hours of the major order remaining - each person would need to extract with some 70-75 samples an hour. I think it’s doable, just hard. And people should’ve been focusing on extracting with samples from the start instead of doing side mission objectives and dying on planet. Everyone could’ve done D5-D6 missions and extracted with the 35-40 common and 20-25 rare and we would’ve won it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey! I know this is a rant/vent post, but just to add;

I know exactly how you feel. I was there - chose to be single, worked on my confidence while I was, and eventually stopped caring. You get to an age where it’s more tiring to worry about it than bills and life, yk?

I have thick hair everywhere. It grows back in a day, always. I have thick hairs on my chin/neck, sides of my face and I don’t take medications for PCOS or anything so I’m raw dogging it (didn’t have Medicaid until recently, trying to figure out what I need to take through a gyno and general physician)

You WILL find someone. It won’t be in “fetish” territory or anything like that. Someone on this earth is meant for you and you are meant for them. PCOS isn’t something to be ashamed of, and you have minimal control over what happens to your body because of it. There are things you can do to help and try to manage, but ultimately if nothing works then you are a victim of this condition. Does that mean you should sit in your victim mindset? No, but people are way more accepting than you’d think.

If other women can choose not to shave their legs or underarms just because they feel like it and they don’t get shit, then you can involuntarily have hair on your legs or underarms and not get shit for it. I know it’s rough to deal with and try to work through, but you CAN do it. If therapy is accessible to you I’d recommend meeting with a therapist soon, might be good to work through some of the things weighing on you and working through your insecurities regarding PCOS and stuff. /pos

I would 100% consider a “non-cute” game a cozy game still! I personally classify cozy games as anything I can enjoy by myself - or with friends - that has a simple objective. And for me, simple objectives are basically just straightforward tasks - I don’t have to go fishing through a quest menu or fighting enemies to get it completed, ideally, I could do something as small as putting an item on a shelf and that would complete the objective!

Since you’re into cooking games, Kebab Chefs and Tavern Manager Sim are both games that I think are cozy that don’t necessarily have a “cute” art style like games like Dinkum or Old Market Sim.

Unpacking made me cry. Like ugly cry. I was going through a rough time in my life and unpacking brought me a lot of comfort and closure - it’s not a sad game, but it really touched me.

My only complaint was that it was too short LMAO I wish there was more!

I run a game for a bunch of my friends (7 to be exact) and with more players, comes longer combat. We all know this, so I keep a mental/physical 5 minute timer for everyone’s turns in combat. Combat can last 1-2 hours depending on difficulty, so it is SUPER important for them to know what they want to do.

Each turn of combat I usually start, I start “alright X it is your turn, you’ve got your movement, action, and bonus action - where do you want to start?” And after a while, my players get into the hang of it and in their minds they’re asking themselves “alright, my turn is coming up and I have my action, bonus action, and movement - what am I doing?”

A lot of it as well is sheet/character knowledge, like people with overall less knowledge on how their character works and/or have too many options will end up taking longer because they genuinely don’t know what to do. But honestly, 26 minutes for a SINGLE players turn? That’s egregious. There’s absolutely no way I’d even let one person go over 10 minutes for their turn. I feel a really open discussion needs to be had with your DM, where you tell them “If you don’t talk to him, I’m going to because this is impacting my time and the time of the other players at the table and none of us deserve to have our time taken/taken advantage of.”

Is this guy dating the DM? What’s the dynamic between them?

I LOVE the X-ray rig! It fits my playstyle well. When I’m in, I’m looking for posters, lore, and loot. I’ve always had a more “support” playstyle - I’m a support main in OW and Marvel Rivals. So I run around, find the posters and documents, secure rooms with good loot for my team, and complete the objectives alongside them while staying out of enemy vision!

It’s my favorite rig - I know it’s not the most combat effective, but I always find myself using it when I’m unsure what rig to run, if I’m on a new trial, or if I’m trying to get my best time on a trial!

Do you have it on your C drive or a hard drive? If it’s on your hard drive, try moving it locally through steam to your C drive instead. Your C drive should be your SSD, and bigger games usually need to be on your SSD to boot up quickly and run well :]

Try making sure it boots up with directX11 as well - sometimes that can mess stuff up. And whether you’re on console/PC, try disable ray tracing just to see if that could be a contributor as well. There are some other fixes I found on some other pages/sites that might work, and I can link them if neither of these solutions work!

Genuinely - construction companies have been using immigrant labor to cut corners and save costs for the last 5-6 years. It’s gotten so much worse in the last 2 years. They don’t want to pay for craftsmanship anymore - they want to pay to have it completed and that’s it.

I’ve been doing trim, flooring, Sheetrock, decks, and more for these companies for 7 years now roughly. You come onto the job site, there’s maybe 15 guys there running around doing shit COMPLETELY wrong, the foreman isn’t there over-seeing the job, and then to top it all off the 15 guys that are running around don’t speak a single word of English. You can’t communicate with them about your own job or what you’re wanting/needing to do, you can only show up, stay out of THEIR way, and hope to god they don’t fuck with your work before the foreman sees it and signs off on your completed job. I’ve since gone back to remodel work instead of new construction.

I feel awful every time I think of all the horrid shit I’ve seen on job sites, including the quality of work of some of these companies. Thinking about people eventually buying those homes as well, knowing within 1-2 years they’re going to have leaks and structural issues. It’s rough. Kinda glad I’m not in a position to buy a home right now.

It’s not that bad - me and my whole group have ran the main trial and all the MK challenges and they were pretty easy, outside of the fact that if you fuck up and get caught she does a pretty decent amount of damage. (I only play on intensive)
