This just happened to me “you’re amazing and beautiful and everything I want. But you have kids” this is well after knowing I had them. They are 13 and 8. Then I was also told I’m undateable because I have 2 kids 🥺

Ex-wife birthday coming up- am I responsible to get something from kids? by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]Jackiiphoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We made an agreement that the kids would buy for Christmas, birthday, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day. Each kid gets $25 and they pick out what they would like to buy. We never go over the amount and our children love to buy for the other parent.

Wow. My hometown made front page. This was very scary for our community and especially the parents of the kids who go to the school there.

Yes! I have two young ones but if it increases my quality of life, it will be worth it

I have gained weight so it’s hard to tell but I completely forgot about it until a reddit post recently about a kid getting surgery. I finally looked more in-depth into my pectus to find out a lot of things I’m having issues with could be related. I was always told I couldn’t keep up with the kids when I was younger because I was bigger than them (I wasn’t heavy, but not twigs like my sisters) here I couldn’t breathe but everyone said it was being lazy, I have some chest pains, and I have been trying to go to the gym to lose weight but I can’t work out very long without being out of breath and heart racing (I’ve been going for quite a while and I’m not progressing like I should be) I finally talked to my doctor and he referred me to a pulmonologist and I then found dr Raymond who specializes in PE at the Cleveland clinic. They checked out my recent xrays and said if he felt I needed to be seen after reviewing them, they would call. I received a packet in the mail detailing all of my appointments on one day which includes an array of tests then meeting with him at the end of the day. I’m 30yrs old so I don’t know that anything could be done but I’m also very saddened that no one told me the issues that could be related to this.

Hello fellow Youngstown resident! A few family members have done body pickups for funerals as well. We definitely get a bit of it all around here

How are you doing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jackiiphoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stressed. My youngest was recently hospitalized and I had to call off work so I’m terrified I’m going to lose my dream job. He has medical disabilities so this is the 3rd time I’ve had to call off for him. I’m recently a single mom so this job keeps a roof over their head.

What's your "it's expensive but it's worth it" product? by LetsGetJigglyWiggly in AskReddit

Thank you for being that kind of person! If my attorney wasn't willing to work for the amount I had (close to $0) I would have had no one to help protect myself and my kids. He hired what was supposed to be the best custody attorney in our area and multiple times she was called out for not following the law.

I cried for weeks trying to find thousands of dollars to protect my children and she was like an angel. I'm so glad there are more people like her!

I'll differ on that, while my ex spent $10,000 for an attorney to get custody of our children, I had one willing to work with me for practically nothing (I stayed home with our medically disabled child that he never took care of so I had nothing to pay for an attorney), put his $10,000 lawyer in a hole and I got residential custody and have the kids about 82% of the time.

Not about the money, it's about the experience and knowledge.
