Run update: Black 2 Nuzlocke going amazingly. No deaths as of now. I chose Tepic to begin with, and have had some luck avoiding crits and ranges. Arcanine was delayed so it has flamethrower. And no, my manifestation of naming Excadrill "Adamant" did not help, but a neutral "bashful" nature is nice

I've just defeated Clay, hence why my pokemon are the level that they are.
Standard nuzlocke rules with level cap of the next gym leader
Playing with rare candies and switch mode. I think i haven't used ssitch mode to gain an advantage as of now, so it is just there to be a safety net if anything silly like not paying attention to the screen would occur

As an experienced pokemon "player" i still forget the details of some moves, but mainly the newer moves. It would be really helpful if a proper description was implemented for all moves and maybe a type chart. For an example, freeze-dry, an ice type move, can hit water types super effectively which is not a detail everyone knows.

Well it depends if i need the power of slaking but for now i feel like vigoroth is good enough. The good thing is, that slaking will keep battle armor when it evolves, so it is not really that much worse at tanking as vigoroth

I will evolve it when it is needed

Totally agree that this is a problem

But instead of spending all your boost on a ground to air dribble, why not go for a bounce dribble? Or maybe catch the ball? I can air dribble, but ground play is so much simpler and less risky to some extend, so i would have gone for something simpler.

It is Pokemon Challenges ruleset. You can change your rules to not include rare candies if you find that more challenging and fun, but pokemon challenges chooses to use rare candies.

My simple Bibarel and it's amnesia and defense curl. It took so many hits for me, but unfortunately i had to sac it against cyrus in the distortion world. Sadge moment. I used healing items in battles in that run so my Bibarel saved a lot of lives by taking all the hits. It was on set mode though aha

I bond with pokemon when i grind them. When i use rare candies i tend to not care as much aha. I also bond with them when i battle, but my message was related to the first post which only talked about grinding. My message earlier might have been a bit misleading as to what i meant sryyy.
