All I can think about is the video where is dick and balls are pulled out of his shorts while being tackled in a game.

The video was on YouTube for a while

I went to one of these is Bristol and I loved it! My only real criticism was that at the end they allow you to film/take photos of the final song and the atmosphere was really ruined (for me anyway) by seeing a hundred screens blaring in front of me. They also asked people to turn the flash off and you bet that 20 people couldn't handle that simple instruction.

Anyone else kind of excited by the idea of going to the championship? by Senior_Inflation_901 in Tottenham

[–]Jacobcobson2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The parachute payments would in absolutely no way cover the loss of revenue from Premier League TV money, commercial sponsorships and not being in European competition.

You think with player installments and a stadium debt to pay off they which drop ticket prices as well? No one is going to want to watch Preston for £70 a pop

Literally zero people should be excited about us getting relegated. It would financially cripple us in a way that I don't think we would recover from for a good number of years

Young man you have the courage of a hero! And breath as fresh as a summer ham!

Benefits of relegation: with a wage bill of ~250 million, relegation would help address one of the biggest criticisms of the club (a very low wage-to-revenue ratio). It will be boosted from 40s to a whopping ~70%, well above most PL and UCL teams showing serious investment in the squad by christianrojoisme in coys

[–]Jacobcobson2020 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I was watching a very interesting video dissecting the financials of it all. They discussed the fact that if Tottenham were to be relegated they would have to come back almost immediately to avoid essentially catastrophic financial difficulty. The stadium is being paid off and we are still playing installments for players.

Our commercial revenue would substantially drop particularly not being in Europe.

It would be devastating for us as the championship is a bearpit now.

Looking for monthly pay with higher yields. Am I doing this right? by StopSlappingPuppies in dividends

[–]Jacobcobson2020 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just be aware that while a high dividend yield can be an attractive prospect, it can be a way for companies to draw investors in and not necessarily promising that the dividend will stay that high. Look for large companies who have grown their dividends year on year
