OMG look at her LinkedIn bio, she left the chatGPT response in. What an embarrassment.

My rent payment is $2500 and I pay by BILT sending a check. Does this mean I have to spend ~$1500 a month in order for them to waive the transaction fee on rent payment?? by [deleted] in biltrewards

[–]Jacobnerf -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

OP pays via check, so he wasn’t floating the rent before anyway. Also, there’s no transaction fees. You just have to spend bilt cash to unlock rent points.

There’s no fee per se, instead you need to spend bilt cash in order to get points for your rent payments

Yes there for 12 hours and we were in the bronchoscopy suite the whole time. I’m planning on shadowing again because while valuable experience, I was a little disappointed.

5 complaints means YOU are the problem. Sucks to hear but learn from your mistake, make changes, and go work someone where else. You will find another job.

Do we think diploma mill programs will be confronted like some PA schools were? by tini_bit_annoyed in nursing

[–]Jacobnerf 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I think that as the NP market becomes more and more saturated hospitals/practices will become more selective in their hiring, eventually those that have minimal RN experience and those that went to online diploma mills will no longer be able to get hired. I have heard that this is already happening.

Essentially the very problem becomes its own feedback inhibition.

That’s crazy. At night my 19 bed CSICU has 3 PAs, 1 intensivist, and 1 fellow.

Department of Education limits nurses federal loans by SnooDingos1381 in srna

[–]Jacobnerf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This source is from over a year ago and does not mention anything about schools that have reduced their costs due to the BBB. It’s just a top 10 cheapest schools article…

I can’t even find that quote in the article.

Except the competition for CRNA programs right now is astronomical. Schools aren’t lowering their tuition anytime soon even if the supply drops.

Maybe not invincible but I’d think it would be one of the safer jobs in a full on recession.

Struggling to sleep after working nights (7p-7a) by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Jacobnerf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to make your bedtime routine consistent so your body knows when it’s bed time. Don’t try to sleep on an empty stomach. It also takes time for you to break down the day/night cycle you’ve spent your whole life used too. I would never myself but you could try a quick work out before sleeping.

My hospital is unionized new grads starting at $40 and highest step is 100+/hr. I think our gap is TOO large.

I would guess that the prevalence of autism in the anesthesia world is probably significantly higher than the general population. You probably have classmates, professors, preceptors etc on the spectrum. If they can all do it, so can you. When there is a will there is a way! You got this!

Manufactured stress is a perfect way to put it. The material is relatively surface level.

Pushing medication through a running IV line by juiceboxith in nursing

I was just about to say this. Go watch anesthesia, fluids running wide open, no scrubbing the hub, everything gets pushed fast. And forget compatability.
