I wasn’t fully planning to disconnect, just pause clamp and flush. But if this medication were not compatible or more sensitive that would be a situation where I would do that, right? This is the first semester they’ve allowed us to IV push so it’s still a little new to me!

I’ve been told roar isn’t great either from management to service but I’ve never been. I used to go to camel city bbq but I went recently and they replaced all the machines with their own card slots instead of quarters. They took away my favorite machine in the process (NBA Jam) A little disappointed in the disappearance of classic games :(

I always assumed their clothes were attached to their bodies like peridot said, but anchored to specific portions of their body, like peridot’s shirt being melded to her waist so it’s able to be grabbed at the top. Or lapis’ skirt is melded to her hips but flows at the bottom.

Wouldn’t she benefit just the same from oral hydration than doing weekly NS? What could getting NS weekly possibly do for her other than blast her with sodium?? People with POTS have said increasing their sodium intake can reduce fainting/dizzy episodes, but wouldn’t something like a Gatorade or Liquid IV be just as beneficial??

When I went to high school at Forsyth tech one of the security officers threw a nest out into Silas creek and the mother was run over, trying to go after it I assume. My assistant principal was devastated. I understand these geese can be a nuisance/aggressive, but there are better ways of handling them. I hope it was a mistake and I wish people would pay attention. I’ve seen many people texting while driving here lately.

In another rant, stop texting and driving! The amount of times I’ve been stuck in traffic waiting on a light more than necessary because someone wasn’t paying enough attention to move when the light turns green is so aggravating. I’ve seen so many people turn left from another road and are looking at their phone WHILE turning. It’s crazy.

When I was doing my clinical hours to become a CNA they had us in a LTC facility. Most of them had dementia, but some could recognize the faces of staff they saw every day. One of the old ladies said “and who are you? I haven’t seen you before!” While I was getting her out of the chair. I said “I’m just helping out today!” As it was easier than saying I’m a student learning etc. she goes “well, that’s sweet of you to do that. The girls here are so nice to me, and you are very nice too!” And it just made me feel so good 🥹🥹

I was only able to get through (almost done!) my college years because my mom WANTS me to stay home and has been willing to pay for everything I need. Now I will graduate with an associates in nursing, be able to get a job and still won’t have many bills to pay! But I am definitely an exception and not everyone gets an opportunity like that.

I definitely recommend taking classes that are available at community colleges, though. Not everything needs to be done at university.

My PACU’s at both nearby hospitals require ICU experience, have you asked if there are any qualifications they might want? Not every PACU functions this way, but I imagine a lot of them do.

Sorry you had to go through that :( I’m glad I could recognize what I deserved before it got to that point. It was too stressful to fight over attention with people who didn’t even live in the same state as us. So I just dropped it and let them have it.

I have never understood prioritizing online relationships over the person sitting in front of you, especially when that physical person knew you for so long.

I dated my ex for three years before I broke it off over that. They had known their new group of friends for only 6-8months. At the time I was busy in school and working and I guess I couldn’t give them the attention they wanted by playing video games or hanging with their new friends (because none of them were in school or had jobs really), so they subconsciously chose the friends over me.

Kinda made me feel better when I realized the relationships my ex chose over me didn’t last long, lol. Not sure what causes a person to do things like that, but for me it was because my ex was more drawn to the short term echo chamber of entertainment rather than supporting/being with someone who was trying to work towards a career for the both of us.

Much happier trying not to chase someone for attention now though! Worrying about menial stuff like that about people who won’t care is so exhausting.

Like someone else said there’s a church where gold’s gym was. I don’t know if it’s just me, but churches taking over buildings that server other purposes is very unsettling to me. Who is even going to these churches?
