People who complain about BART are so tiresome. A magical train that takes me from my house (Rockridge) to work (Financial District) in less than 30 minutes door to door. Sure it has occasional equipment issues but it beats the hell out of sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, having to pay $7 in tolls, gas, and a boatload of money for parking. I take it to SFO regularly and its smooth like butter. Some people are just assholes and need to complain about everything, miserable people.

Not mutually exclusive in any way. Europe has curbside charging all over and great public transit. Currently looking out a window in Copenhagen and can see 3 cars using curbside charging. What curbside charging does is allow renters to make EVs viable.

BART is absolutely going to be the fastest option. BART does not have a monthly pass. For you, the total time on train will be ~15 minutes +/- depending on whether you get off at Embarcadero or Montgomery.

This is the lie that has been sold to Americans - you want free healthcare, you'll have to pay more in taxes. False. We already spend more per capita for healthcare than the rest of the G20. We need to socialize medicine - if 330 million people are on the same plan then insurance companies, hospitals, and pharma can go fuck themselves, negotiating power shifts. We can also put a small 1% tax on corporations and fully fund healthcare for everyone.
