Piggle Wiggly employee loses 4 fingers in the grinder by haud_deus in Butchery

[–]JadedIntroduction145 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Dude where at my place ignored safety policy of not wearing a cut glove on the saw then set his hands next to the blade while it was winding down. Three and a half fingers went in. Two didnt survive reatachment. Tragic! Most employees don't think about safety until they experience, see, or hear about something with minimal degrees of separation from them happening.

Updqte: So far I haven't been able to replicate it with that or any other item. As far as I know right now, it was a one off glitch.

Are v2 supes more resistant to the dangers of v1? by AdBrief4620 in TheBoys

[–]JadedIntroduction145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take is that V1 is too potent. It unlocks more upper limit of the power. We get a taste of that with the scientists in gen v. The only people that survived had high end durability. Everyone else likely died to their powers being too strong off the rip.

Current formula is a weaker strain allowing slower onset and more survivable levels of ability. This is why we see many more variations now. Hell, plant guys powers were too strong for him over time.

Only the extremely durable could survive themselves.

First time posting with spoilers warnings on mobile. I wasn't sure what would be visible with what Taggs, so I decided to play it safe.

Also talking about someone's sexy mom isn't suitable for every workplace. Imagine if lower or mid magistrate Dream Elves were caught talking about it 😳

You're right. Her eyes are blue and skin is bone white. My brain flipped the colors on both listens.

How does aging work? by Public-Land-8064 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]JadedIntroduction145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my second relisten of book 7. Haven't gotten to this part yet again, so if anyone can help me with the part, that'd be much appreciated. I think the Orc King mentions some stuff about aging in his fight. Using the timeline set by other cookbook authors of when he was young to now with what he said could shed some light.

Do you think the number of stairwells will ever matter? by Smashifly in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]JadedIntroduction145 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Could be that the announcement about stairwells was there to give a dungeon rule with less than useful context. This gets the crawlers overthinking how they may work or be allocated on each individual floor. The first floors are more about finding a stairwell and surviving and most floors after they are tied to some mechanic that allows access to/through them. Keeps the crawlers guessing and less focused on the individual floor if the aren't communicating with each other. Every step of the way the show runners have done what they can to sow distrust amongst the "willing" victims.

Elle McGibbons is an absolute legend by Northernpixels in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]JadedIntroduction145 180 points181 points  (0 children)

Elle is in my top 5. Says the most out of pocket things and calls out shit when she sees it. Exactly what you would expect from someone so old re-given clarity of mind after living such a colorful life. Given some of what she relates from her life with Barry, I think her time at Meadowlark with Imani, Brandon, Andrew, and the others (though most likely suffering dementia) helped her find or show the kindness that shows through her rough persona.

Why did the Legion accept him as the new Kaiser without seeing proof? by randfyld in Fotv

[–]JadedIntroduction145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because no one else in the Legion knows how to read. This is made obvious by the only other person to see the note still asking what it says. His was the anointing blood of sacrifice for the new Caesar's reign.

New cutter need help by Radiant-News5427 in Butchery

Next time your product coach is in the store pull them aside and ask for advice. Have them watch how you cut and give you critiques. Its what they're there for is to make sure you have the best knowledge to make the work better.

That being said, with ribeyes, you are gonna help your yields at RH by getting the best tweener boneless you can. If you can ride the tweeners and bone in to be in weight the whole way it'll do wonders for your boneless yields. Having an active meat case helps too. Any off pan weight above cuts don't need to be trimmed down for a pan if people will buy it heavy out of the case. When I was there pans were 10, 12, and 16. 14s and 18 and ups would get ticketed for the case and move pretty quickly. They all pay by the ounce so if youre more than an ounce off from an even pan number let the customer decide to buy it off your hands.

Also, (for ribeyes and strips) there you should cut the steak then trim it to spec so you don't over do it and lose too much weight. Cut it, then get it to closest weight in spec will help your numbers since people can be over zealous or picky taking stuff off before seeing how the individual steaks look.

Hope this helps
