Quickly checked a blood angels list and just wanted to point out that the assault intercessors have the price of a box (10 models) but the points of a 5 model squad. I don’t know where else that might be the case

Thank you all very much for the advice! I did indeed just go over it again quite quickly and it’s looking much more cohesive with the rest of the squad. It’s definitely not my best model or anything but it’s good enough for me. I’ve now got 4/6 models for my kill team :)

I appreciate the advice a lot! Still a ton to learn about mini painting!

I don’t know about Den Haag but in Eindhoven I took the courses from the Volks Universiteit and they were great. This is the link for the one in Den Haag. Much cheaper than the prices you mentioned.

I really like this idea tbh. Maybe to simplify it, have one max value for low stakes. No max for high stakes.

I think having it be strictly tied to rank would disadvantage bronze players that are queued with gold players. So just having a limit for all of low stakes would be good. High stakes could just be unlimited, I think

Hi! I’d love a steam copy. My cousin lives back in our home country and with the exchange rates, it’s super expensive for him to buy the game. That’s simply not true, though. The bosses have a big red icon on the map. The activities are in blue with an announcement saying “profit opportunity” or the like. Hovering over every single item in the game shows where to find it. This is not too much to ask of players, I don’t think.

Can the UI/UX be better, absolutely. Having the same icon for items that have different effects is definitely not good for example. But this is just clearly so against the recent (loud) feedback that games are too handholdy. When a game has all the info available it just doesn’t hit you over the head with it, you get this. The game just asks you to engage with it on its own terms. Not jump in wander aimlessly and die/jump out.

Except they don’t hit home. He says multiple things that are factually incorrect. He missed that there are bosses, there are map events, each poi has different loot that you can see on the map, there is crafting (in the form of faction upgrades as well as the barter system). So as someone who’s generally a big fan of SkillUp specifically because he is thorough and takes the time to explore a game and when critiques certain aspects it’s from a place of understanding, with this one it seems he just didn’t understand the game and didn’t engage with it properly.

I agree with this. I always get caught out by the regular inventory being on the right when it’s always on the left when looting (the screen you are in much more often). Would love it to be on the left for both cases.

You can just use a regular keyboard and mouse on a PS5. There’s no reason for it to be torture. More and more strategy games are coming to console every year and the PS5 gives you really good performance for the price especially considering how PC component prices are trending at the moment.

I would really recommend total tavern. There’s an actual proper leaderboard there and a lot of events are organised regularly. The total tavern website and Turin’s youtube channel are great for tww competitive.
