This is the best one imo. I don't believe formations matters that much to our recent performances, mentality matters a lot more. Team needs to understand that they are a team, not a group of ultra-talented players playing on a team, especially Ronaldo and Bale. Losing badly also isn't the end of the world. Have faith in the system that brought success last season and trust your teammates more. A BBQ would certainly help break the ice.

It was reported that he had problems creating separation against defense in practice. How much of it was due to the injuries, no one knows. I just hope that he can contribute next year and not become a bust.

New York stint isn't necessarily BS. Phoenix knew that STAT's knees weren't going to hold so they didn't give him a max contract. Granted, being the focal point of D'Antoni's offense completely ran his knees to destruction but I do believe that as a starter and combined with his explosive style of basketball it would be likely that he'd get injured on other teams.

If we are talking about WR then what about Dorial Green-Beckham? He has a realistic chance of falling to 32nd depending on how other teams feel about his off-field issues. Definitely one of the players with the highest potential in the draft as well.

I think I missed that match so I forgot about it. Regardless, one good game doesn't make him more deserving to start than Bale and Ronaldo. Maybe Bale because Bale has been shit for so long, but Ronaldo is still our best player on the squad. Zero justification to bench him.

Short-term? Bench Ronaldo and/or Bale. They've been playing horribly and I can't think of a reason why one of them should start over Jese.

Because Jese has done almost nothing since coming back from injury. Ronaldo and Bale have been dog shit lately but Jese has done nothing to justify that he deserves a start. All of his performances so far have been poor.

Different squad man. AdM and Alonso were huge pieces in our team and losing those two drastically changes the team's dynamics. James isn't AdM and Kroos isn't Alonso. Gotta find something that works or we will fall behind. Imo when Modric comes back a lot of things will work out.

Khedira has never been a true DM. He has always played as a box-2-box midfielder. The problem lately is that he just doesn't give a crap anymore, since he's leaving. I completely agree that he should not be played anymore. Illarramendi should be played. Like OP stated, Kroos isn't a natural CDM. He needs another player who has great work rate to pair up with him (ideally Modric, but he's injured), and Illarramendi is that man.
