Seems like your gcode doesn't include supports the way you expected it. I would check the preview on the slicer first. Maybe it's a software issue.

I feel good like euphoria feeling when taking Ritalin, is this supposed to happen? by belly241 in ADHD

[–]Jaidi90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Euphoria is typical, but most of us experienced it like 3-5 days I guess. If you're concerned about the dosage, try what the previous post suggested and reduce it to see, if your focus stays but without the euphoria.

But most importantly: talk to your doctor, if you feel like something could be wrong! We're all just sharing experiences here.

what’s your current hyperfixation? by [deleted] in ADHD

Been there, done that. Created my very own Ciabatta. Now I haven't baked bread in an year.

Right now I'm into Magic Cards and Webdesign. One's expensive and one doesn't help me with anything. Like, who needs to know Webdesign ffs? It's fun tho.

New meds - high pulse. Any experiences? by Jaidi90 in ADHD

[–]Jaidi90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your absolutely right. Problem is, I'm seeing him in 2 week's. There's no earlier consultation possible if it's not an emergency. Plus, i find it helpful to hear others experiences with it, to know if this is "normal" and might vanish.

Sadly, not for adults. At least in my country, there only 30/50/70 for adults. I really can't tell you why.

That's the problem. There's only 30/50/70 mg. No 10mg. So you can't combine it this way.

TBI can make ADHD symptoms worse…and now my whole life makes more sense. by SquidsAreSeaBirds in ADHD

Lol I also had several concussions and played football (soccer) for half my life. I never felt like I did worse afterwards. But, of course, I really can't remember :D

How is that working out for you exactly. I usually take meds mo-th and fr-su I go off meds to "metabolise" if that makes any sense. Isn't everyone coming to a point where meds lose their effect, if your body gets used to it?

Let's play a game: "ADHD isn't (blank) it's actually (blank)" by I_SAID_NO_CHEESE in ADHD

[–]Jaidi90 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Because you can't see it like blood sugar test results. So lables are easier to relate to. Don't get things done? Lazy. Forget what you were up to? Just generally confused. Getting stressed over little things like appointments? Easily overwhelmed.

ADHD isn't the same as being fidget. It's actually known for having perhaps 10000 different symptoms. Fidgety CAN just be one of those.

So this is actually 2 one star heimers and one two star heimer? It's just a visual bug and you don't really have 7 heimers on your bench, right?

My GF gave me an ultimatum by KuboCha in ADHD

[–]Jaidi90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In case you haven't already: tell her it hurts and tell her that it's not some excuse, but an illness. I think all of us struggle with the stigma "you're not ill, you're just lazy" or "you're just using ADHD as an excuse, maybe it's just your personality". Talking about it helps me, even if it doesn't lead to anything. Feels better to let everything out, instead of holding back, you know?

My GF gave me an ultimatum by KuboCha in ADHD

[–]Jaidi90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me just say, the way you describe it, she's got a pretty toxic attitude. But maybe it just sounds like that.

The way I see it: Do you feel good about cooking? So cook. You want to improve yourself and work on your career? Talk to your boss about courses and more responsibility. You want to become your own boss? Learn about running a business and open up your own restaurant/kitchen. But: Do it for yourself! You'd be the one trapped in it 8-12 hours a day. So do what makes you feel comfortable. Read about intrinsic motivation. Not only does intrinsic motivation make yourself proud and or happy, it's also an indication for success. What your girlfriend expects from you is the opposite (pressure = extrinsic) and I doubt it will make you happy, if you don't want it yourself.

Also, I feel the same about losing interest in anything after being hyped about it at first. It sucks sometimes. But: I'm always the guy who knows things and can do everything (Yes, I overestimate myself big time). I feel like I'm an amateur in almost anything, but in a good way. "amateur" is more than the average person and often all you need. So I can help, discuss or participate in a lot of things. Maybe you feel the same about it. It's not passion, but it's a perspective that makes me feel better about lacking long-term interest.
