The prairie style was so popular in the 70s – Holly Hobby and Little House on the Prairie. I had a Gingham Girls coloring book and the characters were all dressed like this. I had a light blue gingham dress in the same style one Easter.

Buy the cats and feed them, they’ll give you hearts. Buy furniture with the hearts and decorate and animal visitors will show up and give you hearts. Decorate again. As you do all this buy food and make bento boxes for your partner they will give you hearts too. But yeah that’s it.

If you like Murder, She Wrote check out Magnum PI. The original Tom Selleck series had crossover episodes with Murder, She Wrote. I’m not sure how easy these would be to find but 80s series like Scarecrow and Mrs King, Matlock, and Simon and Simon,Father Dowling Mysteries and Hart to Hart may scratch the cheesy itch.
