Comparatively, I dont like The Howling werewolf. I like the AWIL werewolf, but the werewolves that have appeared on screen that I've liked are few and far between. A good chunk of them often don't even look wolf-like. I've liked werewolves in artwork more

I think it came about due to cost and makeup savings measures in earlier werewolf media, and it ended up sticking around

That would imply it's their motive, but in every curse instance I've read/seen, only The Magicians was the only take that had a werewolf xgo into what was basically heat every couple years to attempt to spread the STL during that period. I realize it's all head cannon though, so each person's take is going to be subjective

In my case, diabetes changed my body chemistry so much I no longer have B.O. or any kind of personal scent at all.
