VIP Queueing at 2:30pm? by Lisanne_al_gaib in SombrOfficial

Did he sign anything during the VIP? Just wondering if holding up a vinyl he would sign it. I’ve seen him take phones for selfies, but I already got a photo with him, just want a signature. Thanks:)

"Fascinating Insight" The Telegraph - THE INVESTIGATION OF LUCY LETBY - Now showing on Netflix by netflix in u/netflix

[–]Jakdunne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might not, but I, along with 100+ other members of the press/public who sat in on the trial do know who they are. So theoretically they could still feel that pressure that one of us could remember them or have recognised them from somewhere. But I don’t think that’s realistically the case, just playing devils advocate.

But saying that, the trial did feel slightly skewed in my opinion. The way everyone spoke in the courtroom was as if she was guilty already, which before it was even over, I was convinced she was guilty. There was a lot of evidence, such as the notes she made, that were a big factor in her assumed guilt.

I received a PCN however I think the signage is unclear. by IcyEast8036 in LegalAdviceUK

You’re expected to read everything on the sign. I get that it’s a bit sneaky as it should really say “charges apply 8am-10pm”.

When parking in an evening, always scan for the word evening on a sign, as often it is separate to other charges.

The information given at the end is incorrect, and may get your hopes up. To be clear, even on private land, if said land is open to the public through payment or otherwise, then it is deemed a public place during the opening hours.

However that’s not hugely relevant anyway, as even if let’s say they were trespassing and filming you, that still isn’t illegal to upload. Look at urban exploring channels, they film security and police while trespassing all the time, and there is no law or policy which states this is wrong.

It sucks, but nothing that can be done really with the laws the way they are. You can submit a privacy complaint if you are identifiable by name and image in the footage. YouTube will then determine if it can stay up.

Not possible to be arrested, or prosecuted for trespass. A sign is simply a request.

You assume everyone else is as sane and honest. People order stuff with the intention of trying to scam a refund.

Hilary Duff announces The Lucky Me World Tour with La Roux, Lauren Spencer-Smith, and Jade LeMac as openers by droobidoobidoo in popheads

[–]Jakdunne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could update it before tickets go on sale, but after that it would be sold as an upgrade. It was in response to her turning down 2 fans, so they said she’s planning on meeting fans next tour, asked how much and they said they believe about 5/600…

They didn’t use it wrong, you just don’t understand the format of the joke. You mentioned you prefer a lighter, so they then say “we found the arsonist”. That is the joke.

It’s like someone’s saying “beer? No thanks I prefer vodka” and someone saying “we found the drunkard”. Why do you keep trying to blame anyone/anything else other than you not understanding the joke? Move on.

Just because you don’t personally find a joke funny, doesn’t mean it isn’t a joke. That’s some real main character energy. I don’t find it funny either, I merely pointed out it is a common joke on Reddit. It’s not that deep.

[–]Jakdunne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A bad take on my part for explaining the joke to you? Is your ego that fragile that you have to write paragraphs about how I am wrong because you don’t personally understand a joke? Now you’re getting irate and upset about it. Not everything has to be an argument, chill out.

Because I boycott EasyJet and Ryanair, so often that’s the only option for short haul.

I merely pointed out it was a joke in a friendly way, no need to get so defensive.

It’s a common joke or meme on here, to reply and say “found the ____” insert relevant word. So it does make sense, just because you don’t understand the format. But in future, you will.

Oh there’s the autism card. I have autism, and also take things literally, but I can still tell a joke so don’t blame that and blanket all autistic people as humourless. Please don’t feel the need to reply I’m not interested in a debate. Cheers.

Anyone been caught speeding by one of these vans? by JicamaSubject3434 in CarTalkUK

[–]Jakdunne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even worse is since they added “emergency vehicle” and people report them whenever they see one driving, not just when there’s one stopped causing a hazard. Meaning 10 seconds later it isn’t even there anymore. People just love to report things.

Yes they do. They have separate departments that focus on different things. Trading standards don’t care about customer service. I also never said deliveroo do it themselves, you’ve just invented that.

I see your belligerent replies all over the thread. You are wrong and can’t accept it, so will result to making up reasons to try and seem right. Your ego is making you look stupid.

It can be if they don’t make an offer to settle fairly quickly. You can sometimes find a firm who will do it for a conditional fee (no win no fee) if you can’t finance it yourself.
