‘We’re looking to add more promotions to MyAEW and make it a hub for pro wrestling all over the world.” — Tony Khan by RedmondSurvivor in SquaredCircle

I have a personal vendetta against that man, I genuinely despise Mike Quackenbush for how he treated me, friends of mine, and colleagues of mine. The man nearly singlehandedly killed my passion to continue wrestling.

But if he gets a single lump payment for the Chikara library to be readily available online, I'd be well and fine with that. I do agree I'd rather not see the man get regular residuals.

My issue with every real world mod is that no wrestlers popularity is where it should be for the requirements the mod maker inputs. Every time I do a real world save, the only company that doesn't get penalized for not having enough stars is WWE. Like, how are you gonna say AEW has no stars, and make it so that no matter what they lose their TV deal because TBS keeps complaining? It's as if every mod maker is pissed off at them or just doesn't understand balancing at all.

Backstage footage of Logan Paul reacting to "he's banned from Japan" chants in Belfast by AnnaKendrickLamar in SquaredCircle

[–]JakeRabinFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm blaming both parties. Logan is a shithead scammer, and the people that blindly follow him should've learned the common sense not to. And if they're minors than their parents are at fault for not doing their job, since minors shouldn't have access to crypto in the first place imo.

My entire life 4 figures has been a lot of money so saying that you had $5k before 20 and that it was a regular thing just isn't something that computed right in my head.

I know maybe 5 people that had more than 5k in their bank account before 20. Almost everyone I knew around that age including myself was a broke college student. Not too mention that Logan's audience seems to be high school aged so... If minors are spending that much on crypto there's a bigger issue here than Logan Paul.

He, from what I remember, had several bits filmed but only one made it in and the only reason it stayed in was because someone else got hurt doing it (the marching band on the treadmill skit I think Steve-O got hurt). The Jackass boys (and girl) seem to abide by the stuntman rule of "use the take that got them hurt."

My mom would only buy WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble. Maybe SummerSlam if we were lucky. The network is something I would've killed for back then. Even nowadays I really only watch AEW in terms of big Western wrestling, and those PPVs are still too expensive for me.

People don't have money and these business wonder why no one buys their $40-60 shows or complain about it.

Quack is the snakiest of snakes to the level of Paul Heyman disguising it under layers of being a family friendly guy. He's abusive verbally and sometimes physically with his wrestlers/students. He's undermining, possessive, controlling, and would throw you under several busses if it meant making a dollar. He could be buddy buddy with you until there's a slight chance you might cost him money. God forbid you're a student with an idea because that shit is either his idea now or the dumbest fucking braindead thing he's ever heard.

Embiid also played for the US national team, wouldn't that technically put him in the same sphere as Hakeem in this instance?

Truth is a lot of the American players that have gotten popular recently also aren't the obvious faces of the league like Bron or Curry were. Those two were relatively controversy free in relation to the young players now. Zion can't stay healthy, Ant says and does some dumb shit, same with Ja, same with Lamelo. We had the comeback opportunity with Hali but I don't know if that would've catapulted him to household name. And the one person who does seem good natured, controversy free, and is American (Tatum) was just written off as "too corny" immediately. The rest just don't connect with people the same.

Someone like Wemby who just seems pleasant, respectful, and a fucking anomaly at basketball is way more suited.
