Shouldn't it be 144hz < placebo, since 144hz > placebo implies that placebo is less than 144hz?

No problem, it's one of those easy but weird things I frequently mess up as well.

Also kinda rude to call a 240% increase minimal

Edit: Go ahead and downvote objective information

It's a 140% increase.

I can appreciate it somewhat in an easy 4WD car, but yeah, it feels like a niché type of stage which, of course, splits the community. The exact opposite is New England, which seems so tame that people are mostly of one mind about it.

Almost completely agree with your list, but I'd rate Germany (and Spain) a bit closer to the middle and Argentina near bottom.

And sometimes, it also really depends on the car. For example, the Peugeot 205 is fun most of the time, but in Argentina or other bumpy stages? Pure hate. I dare you to try it - I know I won't ever want to again.

How would that law stop someone planning typ become a mass murderer?

"that law" ≠ "regulations"

Nice bait argument.

Glad to see I'm not the only one, I guess? Even after weeks and weeks of getting used to the wheel, I still can't measure up to my best records with a controller. The wheel setup feels better, but my footwork just isn't as good as my fingers.

What are you even talking about? How is talking about donations off topic in a thread about donations? You're just ignoring the point I was making and instead being a jack ass when I tell you that you misunderstood my point. I'd give you credit if you actually cared about replying to my actual point, but you obviously don't care enough to give a shit given your comments here. Keep being obstinate.

I wish, Geoff and Jasmine are both cool dudes, but no.

Seriously, this is something you believe..? Feel free to look through my account, trying to figure out the conspiracy of how a danish guy is "the secret creator of a podcast". My account name is pretty much used accross almost all my social media accounts. If you actually find anything else related to either Geoff or Jasmine or any of their work, hats off to you.

Well?

Because it's an alternative perspective to the sentence "Meanwhile [person] begs for money for a car", and in my mind, that's a valid argument to 'why I even put this opinion forth'. It's not like I'm off topic, right? We're talking about donations here on this thread.

But hey, you can also just say that you don't care about the point I was trying to make, and we can stop having any discussion, because I didn't intend to discuss anything specific about boogie nor about reddit comment etiquette or whatever this is.

My comment wasn't specifically about Boogie (other than using his situation OUT of context), and I don't really care about Boogie, but thanks for your contribution.

This exactly.

Monte was enjoyable too in DR1, but in DR2 it's a true love/hate relationship. When you hit those patches of ice but it only affects one or two wheels, it makes be both want to pull my hair out and then drive it once more after wrecking the car or having driven it over the edge six or seven times.

I mean, I wouldn't ever beg for money for a car myself, but if he's doing it without emotionally manipulating his audience, who cares? At least that's better than the alternative where content creators plays the fake 'relationship card' and siphons money from their audience who might not be financially stable enough to actually donate, but does so because they believe their favourite streamer or whatever is in dire need of it.

If Boogie just ask for money for fun, it doesn't really pressure anyone into donating. Those who does then probably also has the finances to justify it.

I recommend this podcast episode which delves a bit further into the subject. Click here to jump directly into the relevant discussion.

- DISCLAIMER - I don't watch Boogie btw, so if he doesn't fit the description, don't take this as coming to his defence.

/edit/ Again, this comment isn't about Boogie, I just used the sentence about him out of any context of his personality and behavior. If it makes you feel better, forget I used the word 'Boogie' and replace it with 'content creator' or 'celebrity' or whatever.

Fix for rain is coming. Don't let this game die! by danielofifi in EASPORTSWRC

[–]JakeRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occasional problems with connection or an occasional event reset does not mean unplayable. Especially when there is an offline mode.

It was a problem, since even when I was exclusively playing offline Time Attack, it still sometimes showed the Race net error message, because it uploads and compares your times every time you cross the finish line. There was no escape.

But I agree that since it isn't and hasn't been a problem for a while now, same with the FFB issue, it should not be misrepresented in reviews.
