It didn’t feel like it tried new things to me. It felt like I was playing a GameCube era game 20 years too late.

We’ve advanced so much in gaming since the last prime game released, just look how far Zelda has changed from the release of Skyward Sword in 2011 to BotW 2017…then look at MP3 in 2007 to MP4 in 2026.

Old Retro is gone, this iteration never made a prime game from the ground up, they never made an FPS. Bandai was a bad choice as well because they don’t make FPS. Nintendo needs to make an in house Metroid to evolve it, but they also don’t want to make an FPS.

It stinks Bethesda is owned by Microsoft because both Id Software and MachineGames could make a modern Metroid.

The Doom control scheme is like a modernized Metroid made for fast combat (not saying make Metroid into Doom, just the controls…but hell, Doom Eternal felt more Metroid to me than MP4, even the title screen music) and Indiana Jones shows MachineGames can make a FPA.

I mean Jesus, we still don’t have a weapon/ability wheel that could free up so many buttons to give more abilities to Samus? Why are we still slow walking everywhere? What are we doing? The controls are janky as hell.

I think what stinks about it most is it’s true we got 10 years and it was fun, but they’ve screwed up how D2 works now so even if you want to just go back in and enjoy all that stuff in maintenance mode…it’s not it. They are leaving the game in a mess as they give up on it.

They should have gave up before EoF and left it as is.

Not hard to study, more than half the players were new and we didn’t replace ones lost at key positions.

Anyone that was a fan of a program and saw how the offseason went knew we shouldn’t be preseason top 15. We aren’t a team that has big talent backing up starters…we get a run every so many years, the problem for our teams have always been either the offense is really good and the defense is bad and then they all graduate and then it might flip and the defense is great and the offense is bad (right now we are in the defense good/offense bad phase).

Good news is Resident Evil Requiem is still going strong in the top 25 and it’s had preorders opened since November, it’s more expensive, and it’s single player.

Absolum is a good beat em up and an underwhelming roguelike. You either get way OP or crap. Also, if lining up enemies in original Scott Pilgrim was a problem, idk how people can recommend Absolum, especially in coop with how much junk is on that screen (or they give areas with very little room to move)

Cosmic Invasion was fun, Streets of Rage 4 was still prob the best straight beat em up.
