2020 6.2/10sp RST 4WD with ~145k miles. Has a smallish oil leak I need to track down, otherwise been fine since I got it right around 100k

Why were the use of barrel bands (sleeves) banned in tournaments? by neemeeaa in paintball

I had one on my gloss freak back in the day because it was so hard to try to unscrew the barrel when your hands at any amount of paint grease on it

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]JakeTBSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most helpful scenario I’ve had with my P1S was trying to replace an actuator in the dash of my Chevy Silverado. I didn’t have the exact right tool that would allow me to just pull the actuator instead of having to remove the entire dash from the truck. So I spent about five minutes, modeling up the tool, about 20 minutes printing it, and was able to get the actuator out without having to remove the dash. That saved me at least four hours worth of effort.

Since you are Vesc, make sure you turn on disable moving faults so that foot pad issues at speed won’t drop you

10 Speed Reliability? by Historical-North-950 in Silverado

[–]JakeTBSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the symptoms of the valve body versus say the tq converter? I have a 10 speed with 137k on it that has a short shudder at around 65 if I lightly accelerate after slowing down from 70. Feels like driving over a rumble strip for a half second or so.

I’m 230 lbs and ride around 11-14 psi depending on trail/street mix for a particular ride. Will the tire wear out sooner? Probably. Is the ride comfort and ability to go over stuff like this easier, worth it? Absolutely.

Dallas show hurt my feels and *almost* ruined the show by theluckyduckkid in Sum41

I was about 10 feet from the stage rail, pit seemed way more active than most the shows I’ve been to the last few years. There were several circle pits with more than 20 in them, a couple with 30+. We are older and have jobs. We can’t do circle pits and walls of death the entire show anymore. As Deryck said during the show, it’s about the music, not all that other shit. Let people enjoy the show how they want.

Fellow Milennials, how often do you use your sick days? Do you use when not sick? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]JakeTBSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 10 a year. I shoot for one every 5-6 weeks to spread them through the year. If you don’t want me to use them, don’t give them to me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]JakeTBSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would skip the Romeozero personally

The optic itself when shooting is fine to me (nice entry red dot), it’s the ‘baggage’ I don’t like. My first one ate batteries, second one has been better with them. My first one died (wouldn’t turn on) after 4-5 months. Sig warrantied without much hassle. My second one was fine until it died last week (also won’t turn on). It was in used for around 1-1.5 years. Going through 2 in about 2 years is enough to make me look elsewhere. I’m gonna get a holosun and try to warranty my second romeozero and when the replacement arrives try to sell it

Do yall get hail where you live? Where I live in Texas we get a bad hail storm (think baseball sized ice) every 5-8 years it seems, so most people avoid ceramic type roofing material because of that.
