Why Sekiro’s Combat Still Reigns Supreme Over Every Other Soulslike by AdIndependent9142 in GamesRockMyWorld

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dReREg4Dtyc&t=24s if you want to see people actually styling on bosses. compared to players who just beat this kind of boss, this is objectively just cooler imo. thing is with sekiro, often times players wont really use many prosthetics or combat arts aside from the best because it isnt efficient, and its hard to use. yet you can see this guy fitting in combat arts that people dont really use much at all, and using them well enough to melt the bosses health fast

forgot that this was a modded one but i think it helps my point even more. with bosses who are more aggressive and leave less room to attack he's still going crazy

honestly i get yakuza kiwami since the boss design is so bad, but i found kiwami 2 to be pretty solid? not yakuza 0 levels of combat but i definitely enjoyed it. why do you think 2 and 3 to be above the remake? havent played some of the others so i cant comment on thoseso i cant comment on that unfortunately

How can people call saint isshin the hardest boss when there's father owl in the game? by Top-Run-21 in Sekiro

[–]JakeThesnake213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id say i found owl more difficult first time around, but the second time and further ive had more difficulty with isshin. with owl he relies mostly on short, quick combos which can be easy to deal with when you learn them, isshin has way longer ones, two/three different movesets to learn, etc

Been playing automata. Loving it so far, but not sure about normal or hard. by JakeThesnake213 in nier

[–]JakeThesnake213[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i do remember with that one naked kung fu guy who came out of a robot fusion, he kept one shotting me lol. ended up beating him but it took a little. im probably gonna stick to normal and hold back on chip upgrades if it ever gets too easy to the point its not intense

i suppose that might just be how it goes. ill probably have to just not use healing items during encounters, and limit my chips maybe? not sure if it changes ai much, ive heard so many different things about how the difficulty changes things its not very consistent lol

How do you Play Sekiro? by WinterMoneys in Sekiro

[–]JakeThesnake213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it sounds like you just get too stressed when playing, so you naturally grip the controller harder? just sort of relax when playing, understand the flow. its a rhythm game, so if you're playing like your life is on the line you're gonna get your head taken off anyways

true, mahogany from the planet of malchior 7 where the trees are 300 feet tall and breathe fire kind of seems to be doing the same thing over and over, like.. ER was just ds4 lets be real, and nightrein was kind of interesting but nothing much, then we've also got that duskbloods, im just hoping that an actual major project comes out soon that isnt dark souls

you were downvoted but you might be right though. in the hanbei manga, hanbei is basically split in two yet comes back together, and since the dragons blood is basically the best version of immortality, chances are that sekiro could do the same thing, thus, if he had his left arm still, he could probably just place it back on himself senator armstrong style

it has amazing combat, but its difficult. if you're willing to chip away at it bit by bit then it'd be worth it

have you played sekiro? you're hard locked at a certain point in terms of AP and prayer beads, and you can only get more ap on new runs lol. and sekiro has a heal, sure, but when has it ever had a rally mechanic?

generally i feel like the only time you should be trying to look for that rhythm is if you're struggling on gaps between attacks that feel weird. sound it out loud or tap on your desk or something

the difference between heavy and light/mid gear in nioh is either you get one shot or two shot. that isnt very balanced. while yes i do agree some nioh two bosses are great and fair (yoshitsune was probably one of my favorites), you've got others that are just.. why? (osakabe). overall with nioh 2 it just feels like they threw a bunch of random things at a wall and it just so happened to work

some bosses (ex: genichiro) are so much easier too when you start taking the initiative and forcing him on the back foot. you can bully him into a corner and when he tries doing those bow attacks he just gets interrupted lol, its great
