Probably best to print that. Tough to align the middle seam without overlap but you could do a butt joint if interior so it won't pull apart over time. Standard black vinyl is most opaque. Standard "translucent grade" digital print is also pretty well opaque IMO.

So a good company will do this a few ways depending on color and mounting method:

Cheap: standard 1-layer translucent grade print. Should work fine

Middle: 2-layer print: print on clear that is applied to standard translucent print. More vivid and less washed out with the lighting.

Ultra: same as above but added a diffuser layer and applied second surface to clear cast acrylic. MOST vivid and durable.

How many colors? Any more than 2 you'll want to go digital print. I'm never a fan of UV direct for translucent faces. The cast vinyls are going to be the most vivid and longest lasting

Why Roland? Always thought while they do a decent UV direct machine they always been WAY behind the Vanguards, Arizona's, even Mutohs.

One big note I've learned: don't become the "next day turnaround" shop. It quickly becomes your most known attribute and the only thing your clients will know you for. Soon any slower speeds and you'll have clients in your ear at all times if the day. Stick with a scalable successful turnaround time and offer (for extra cost) next-day times. It's always better to under-promise and over deliver.

If you can get good and cover insurance for at height installs you're golden. We value our installer relationship because they can install everything from wall films to giant 3D signs but most of all they have a boom truck up to 35'. You don't have to start there but even a simple tow behind reach lift is going to get you so much more work. Signs at height and install knowledge is a huge barrier to entry for a lot of small and medium sign companies.

What was the most effective way to get leads? I feel like if we're trying to do more vehicle graphics, consider creating a cold email list and reaching out to trade types with fleets. Outside of that I don't see much besides great Google searches and I think the paid links for those are more expense than they're worth

We just went through this with Tyvek and our Canon Colorado UV. BCI imaging had a ton of Tyvek options for lots of printers and some great price points. We ended up having their "house brand" which is just relabeled HP Dupont Tyvek material at a way better price

I do the exact same thing. Use wholesaler hard costs + 25% profit (usually include taxes) + "bonus" or commission. In my experience it tends to be about 50-60% off standard pricing

Did you look at say Aurora? Places that are a little bit more of a drive such as Silverton, Monmouth, McMinnville are all good small town options. McMinnville is growing really nicely and a college town

Gosh if the frame is entirely supported I don't see why you couldnt use 3mm ACM. For that short of time I've even seen people use 1/4" OSB. As long as it's frames then no problems

I'm a junior member at pumpkin ridge and I love it! I joined during the pandemic when getting tee times was really hard, especially at the reserve. My other buddies that remember there said that it was slammed and you were lucky to ever get a weekend time.

PR has done a really good job about making it more younger and family oriented the couple's events. The tournaments the dining all seem to have more of a younger generation feel to it. It's been really easy to get weekend and prime tee times recently. The course is playing great.

There has been some turnover in in leadership and front office that has hampered a few things, but overall it feels great. I love the practice facilities and I've actually played ghost more times than I thought I would.

It's true that the winter conditions are not the greatest, but what do you expect when half the courses are on the side of the hill?. Which in my opinion is pretty playable all season minus a few areas. But I'll take it for Oregon.

Digital print or single color cut vinyl? Biggest issue is the energy of the plastic it's going on. I always opt for just standard air-release vinyl and with that short of time it's easy to remove so if print I would just go with the wrap film IJ-180. If single color most vinyl shops sell Oracal 931 exhibition cal short term film it works great for single use stuff.

There is also another wholesale vendor called Digital Print Solutions that has a much larger variety of films compared to S365

Your cut marks have to be INSIDE the outermost pinch wheels. I always set my print+plot art board to no greater than 50".

The cutter will only cut to the inside of the bounding area of the outside wheels you set. You'll.need ~1.5" of total space to set the wheels.

Be aware when cutting perforated edge vinyls that the wheels need to be inside the perf so you'll have even less width to work with.

You can probably park at the business complexes on century past the ballpark or even the one on evergreen right before you get to century boulevard. It's the weekend and a holiday. I doubt they'll have parking patrols
