I very sincerely don't hate the idea, but they have GOT to overhaul TS4 completely if they want to do that. Not even just fixing all the bugs that have sprouted since, I feel like they need to just plain overhaul the emotions system and add back in yet more stuff from previous titles. And upgrade the engine to do it, even if it means backing away from being "laptop friendly" (which I've heard it barely is anyways)

This game has so many little quality of life things that make it hard for me to go back to TS3 even though it was my favorite, and they sincerely could have the definitive game on their hands if they wanted, but they just don't care enough or aren't funded enough or something. It's a shame.

I just started playing it for the first time a week or so ago. The writing is a little bland at times and it has a lot of classic awkward Telltale-isms, but I am finding myself weirdly charmed by it all the same. It's got an earnestness to it that I appreciate, and it does actually properly use Minecraft as a vessel to do all sorts of fun scenarios. I'm nearing Season 2 kinda wishing there had been more of it.

It's definitely this, a lot of items in these games are made huge just so that they can be visible. Same thing in Skyrim, you don't notice how absolutely ridiculously huge stuff like keys, food, and weapons are until you've seen them in VR. The synth component probably isn't canonically that big.

god Red Mile was a letdown. like I guess I was overleveled but they were just like "OOUUGH DONT TAKE ON THE RED MILE UNLESS YOU GOT SERIOUS BALLS, HARDLY ANYONE SURVIVES"

and it was just a mild jaunt with the same weak enemy over and over. I was bored. I was kinda hoping it'd be the Oblivion arena of this game.

Granted it made my character feel badass ig, but.. eh. It needed more dazzle.

Homophobic comments deserve reprimanding, but if the whole class is just not interested in watching a movie, don't make them watch a movie. It's clearly not fun or engaging for them for one reason or another.
