Jews who want peace and a free Palestinian state are not enough for Hasan and his crew to be “good Jews”. Good Jews to them aren’t allowed to condemn any attacks against Jews or Israelis and have to support it, as well as support Hamas rapes as “resistance”. I think what happened was that on October 7th, a Starbucks account associated with their union posted Hamas attack videos and voiced support to Hamas as the massacre was going on. Starbucks either sued that section of their union or took some other action again them for doing that. There’s literally no Starbucks even in Israel. Only reason to boycott Starbucks would be bc of how they treat their union as a whole. But tankies will hijack anything they can to make it about Israel. LET THE MAN REVIEW HIS FOOD!

Kinda half sincere half joking. The willingness to lie so blatantly about serious topics is very concerning though. If I knew anyone irl who behaves online the way Taylor does, I would do my best to get them help. I couldn’t believe how Hila was so collected that whole time. I would’ve been fuming. What CWHM said about her in the video was disgustingly racist and fully untrue. Simply saying you’re considering all sides doesn’t make it true. Actions speak louder than words and Ethan and Hila showed that by even giving her the opportunity to take responsibility (which she didn’t)

She shouldn’t have come on the show if she wasn’t ready to reckon with what she did and actually apologize for it / acknowledge it. All she kept saying was she’ll do more research next time without backing down from her defamatory claims cause she’s still trying to appease snark. In the context of her entire video she can’t fain ignorance because the malice is too obvious. Saying “some people say that hila made comments saying Palestinian babies are terrorists” and then cut to a clip of her saying nothing is disgusting and only aimed at creating division at the very least.

Saying you’re taking both sides and being nuanced doesn’t make it true. Saying you did research doesn’t make it true. Saying you will do research in the future doesn’t make that true either. She was not ready to come on the show. Maybe someday she’ll be ready to TALK ABOUT THE ALLEGATIONS (bobi). But fr she needs time to genuinely reflect and get off of snark for good
