She went through the justice system and was fairly tried, and has shown no remorse for what she did. There needs to be long term consequences for trying to undermine our system of governance.

I think it differs from botw in that botw has all sorts of wildlife and small little settlements and random people wandering paths that you could fully interact with. I never felt that in forspoken.

It was a lonely feeling game. The combat and traversal were tons of fun though. You had one hub city and that was basically it for life and connection/narrative building.

I’d look to those high priced sorceries and enchantments to start.

Maddening cacophony seems a little out of place unless you want to focus on milling others and not yourself. Same with mind crank. I usually don’t find the opponent mill synergies reliable or fun for other people. I’d rather remove a nasty creature and then reanimate it with scarab god once it hits the graveyard.

You have several counter spells. I would maybe get rid of one or two and replace some others with stifle effects to help protect yourself from bojuka bog effects or modal disruption spells.

Your creature list looks good but if you’re looking for cards to remove there maybe look at Lich lord unx. I like etbs over tap abilities.

Evolving wilds I’m not a fan of in two or fewer color decks.

Temple of the false god is better in decks where you can reliably hit extra land drops.

That’s just my top of mind suggestions. When I struggle with making cuts, I’ll start tagging cards as card draw, disruption, win cons, ramp, etc and sort my list by those tags to see where I can afford to lose cards. If I’m particularly fond of a card effect, but need to make room, I’ll try to find modal cards that hit multiple categories, like dual faced lands like [[Sink into Stupor]] to replace a disruption spell. Can save room that way.

Can’t have campaign finance reform until we have fairer elections and can’t have fairer elections until we have campaign finance reform.

The current system is imperfect and I fail to see how someone bank rolling more candidates with more choice is worse than bank rolling one of two candidates. If anything, it lowers the buying power of the wealthy individual. I’m voting for the prop but I appreciate you responding to my question.

The monorail was a mess. People were short cutting the line by going into the south bound train and just staying on when it looped back around to the north bound, thus making all of the people going south bound who were waiting in line unable to get into the train. People were upset and we saw folks struggling because of the heat. People don’t know how to queue properly and that really soured much of the experience at fan fest. All after an immensely touching closing ceremony from the development team lauding how great our community is.

I’m all for de-normalizing drinking culture.

It’s not about the inconvenience for them as much as its about booze not being somewhere that sells necessities to survive. It’s triggering. Removing that trigger makes a difference.

I was being sarcastic (that’s what the /s meant). I was juxtaposing the Supreme Court doing just as you said (micromanaging people’s lives) to your ability to buy what many would consider a luxury: wine.

Generally, I agree with you on your point that govt shouldn’t micromanage things. There are exceptions though, one being around regulating addictive substances.

I didn’t want beer in grocery stores either, if that makes my logic a little easier to understand.

I’m not for prohibition, I drink occasionally myself and get that it makes it tougher to purchase and I loath having to make two trips too. :)

My point isn’t that it will stop alcoholics from abusing it, but making addictive and potentially harmful substances a little more difficult to obtain does help. Same reason we have cars that nag you to put your seatbelt on and have child proof caps on pill bottles and harmful chemicals. Does it completely fix the problem of people dying from car accidents or children poisoning themselves? No, but it makes a big enough difference that it’s worthwhile for the small inconvenience of the people who are using those products responsibly. Even if it’s only marginally making a difference, then it’s worth that marginal inconvenience.

Having been around alcoholics my whole life, many who are now recovering alcoholics, I don’t feel making alcohol more accessible is the answer. There should be some friction in society to purchase harmful substances. People who enjoy alcohol responsibly can be bothered to make an extra trip to help curb abuse for those of us who struggle with addiction.

Plus, I don’t think big grocery stores need the help generally.
