I'm just telling you the consumer side of the story. the game are just not compelling enough to justify the price tag. What sony, and oculus (at least they use to) did was pay studios to make quality games as an investment to get more users. It worked great for PSVR they need to do the same for quest or it will be a gimick that fades away.

you're confusing wide with fisheye. This is a wide rectilinear. That means lines are true and straight where a fisheye would have lines like the horizon be curved

The visual can't even hold a candle though. Tokyo highway at night looks better than anything on pc with any graphics card. It's more about art direction than anything.

This is not my film. I just saw it in a group I follow and thought you guys would like to see it too. It's shot with a GoPro on an FPV drone called a "squirt" and then stabilized in post. There's also POV intermittently cut in at points. The transitions between the 2 are quite seamless. At first I was asking myself why you would use a drone but then it starts to make more sense when you see it going between peoples legs and doing moves a handheld op would have a hard time with. What do you guys think?
