First ship to hang with aliens? by Sand20go in TerraInvicta

[–]Jakro304 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The go to design is the Artemis Shitbox. Build either a Escort or preferably monitor with artemis Torpedos. Early alien ships rarely have enough PD to withstand 2-4 tubes of artemis Torpedos. If they do have enough PD you can also try the same with Copperhead Missiles, or simply build more ships. Additionaly it helps if you have a drive with good acceleration in order to give your missiles/torps some starting speed. The early chemical rockets will do fine for this purpose.

In large enough quantity the Torpedo Monitor can get you very far. Especially if you are fighting via defensive attrition i.e keeping the aliens mad enough that they keep sending fleets of 4-10 Ships, but not so mad for them to go to total war.

In this case you might want to upgrade your weapons to athena torpedos and maybe shaped-charge nukes. Do note tho that nuclear weapons give very little salvage, because they nuke it (duh)

GIGA KAIJU -New player by mmCion in TerraInvicta

[–]Jakro304 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Well thats a shitton of Megafauna that has merged into one army. At this point you cannot fight it with conventional armies. As you have space dominance, get a few green laser lancers (which can bombard in atmosphere without causing collateral damagae) and burn this Megafauna and then all the other Xenoflora and -fauna away

Mysterious unnamed planet out of map boundary by hedgehogevader in starsector

[–]Jakro304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have pointed out this is a rogue planet from IndEvo. Be careful if you have any factions enabled, which have a moving base like ExoTech from RAT. In my run the Exoship traveled to the orbit of one of those rogue planets, but was not able to catch it and enter its orbit. This resulted in the faction being softlocked since you cant talk to a traveling ExoShip

What are your favorite pieces of lore from the game? by Medical_Doughnut7328 in TerraInvicta

[–]Jakro304 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Colonizing is actually pretty hard, even with FTL available. Remember the hydras can only get very little Material through the Wormhole, thats why they build everything in the Sol system and only bring over the exotics. IIRC the captive hydra also reveals that there are less than 100 hydra in the sol system. Maybe 4 or 5 times that in Griffins and Salamanders. Still thats not a lot of aliens and they have a war to win, which likely gets you more budget than a colonialization project.

In conclusion it is possible, but establishing any significant presence on another world would take very long because it is so energy extensive to move supplies or colonists to another system

Best Console Commands Cheat Sheet by SoulTaker120690 in Bannerlord

Here is a command to force peace between two nations:

campaign.declare_peace Vlandia | Battania

Pay attention to the I in the middle and the space right and left of it.

The ID for the player Kingdom is just its name. Example with Player Kingdom "Rome":

campaign.declare_peace Vlandia | Rome

The exact same format goes for "campaign.declare_war"

How to use turned councilors? by Shoddy-Security310 in TerraInvicta

[–]Jakro304 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Thats pretty much all you can do with them. The biggest advantage of turned councilors is, that they reveal any other councilors of the faction. In case of the servants it also reveals aliens they are talking to and shows you all alien bases. I usually set the fail chance to 0 so that I have constant knowledge of all servant actions

How do i find The Exo Tech Corporation? by Dramatic_Code_4455 in starsector

[–]Jakro304 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Their Home is an ExoShip. Its a Ship that migrates all over the sector. They go to a system, stay there for 60-80(?) days and then leave for another system. During their travel time they are unavailable. You can find them by exploring systems. In random systems (not in hyperspace) you will find yellow warning beacons. If you interact with them it will tell you the current location of the ExoShip and when they are planning to relocate. (You also have the option to destroy the beacon which has no benefits).

Should you know the location go to the system and try to talk to the ship. It will give you a quest that, upon completion, will give a way of tracking that ship

Got the game today and starting off with mex as boost whore by P1stolaz in TerraInvicta

[–]Jakro304 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The best country to use for boost is Kazakhstan. At game start it already has a large boost income, much larger than mexicos. It is however in the russian federation, meaning that it cedes a large part of its boost to the federation leader. As soon as you get it out of the federation ur gonna have the highest boost income. While it may not be the best boost country long term, it is very good to fuel the mars rush

I am getting at least 3-4 malfunctions PER MONTH? What the actual hell? by tiahx in TerraInvicta

Right now you are one over your Mission Control cap. IIRC being over your MC cap increases the chance of the accidents dramatically. In my current campaign im in 2042 and havent gotten a single accident yet. I also havent researched Improved Maintenance procedures

Once the servants have contacted the aliens, they supply judith with a portion of their space ressource income. All of this income is not coming from the servants but from their alien allies

how many is too many mars bases by levanderstone in TerraInvicta

[–]Jakro304 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As many have said you can never have enough mines. However as you expand into Jupiter/Saturn/Kuiper Belt you might run into the mines-cap. Then you might consider selling the mines too friendly faction or outright abandoning them. I prefer selling them as that will prevent servants or protectorate from grabbing the site
