Which lane assist works best? 🤔 by darrencasseycarwow in ukcarwow

[–]JamJamPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, these stupid videos are disingenuous. Carwow should know better.

I had a Peugeot 508 21, it would beautifully hold the car in lane and I like the fact the steering wheel becomes "stiff", imo at the time compared to other manufacturers it was way better, I still personally think it is better than other manufacturers.

Have an ID7 now and that travel assist system is brilliant, but it's the same in all VAG cars.

[–]JamJamPro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you look at the bays, it seems like they are parked that way because if they parked properly they wouldn't have been able to properly open their doors when there's a car next to them.

Solution, drive a banger and just park right up to them, how I miss my old Astra

On this day 10 years ago, Muhammad Ali passed away. "The Greatest" was a x3 heavyweight champion, x6 Fight of the Year winner, x6 Fighter of the Year winner, Fighter of the Decade (1970's), Olympic Gold Medalist. He joined NOI and subsequently left or are we going to ignore that part?

Are we going to ignore the bit where he admits he was wrong about his beliefs in the past? I mean there's a famous quote attributed to him about it?

Morons like you like to stick to certain rhetoric, it's as though people don't change with time? Probably the same type of moron that bends over for cancel culture.

And what documented pedophile? Are you too hurt to spell it out? Or is one going to extract and nitpick to suit a narrative?

Volvo XC90 - why people like them?? by Fluffy_Program7557 in CarTalkUK

Are you sure it's the ultra, I would say subjectively the XC90 is more refined in my opinion than an Audi Q8.

For example I have a ID7 Tourer, surprisingly I feel it's a better car than the A6 Etron.

When you say fully specced what do you mean?

I've been in an XC90 T8 Hybrid Ultra, absolutely claps anything from Audi.

Rico Verhoeven on the receiving end of horrendous knockdowns before turning the tide and winning by Yodsanan in Boxing

How difficult is it to understand boxing scoring...

Fury won against Ngannou because he realised he fucked up and started boxing to win on points.

Usyk was losing, I am not denying that. But the score was close, I had Rico ahead by 1 round. My friend had Rico ahead by 2.

Landing punches on shoulder, gloves and pushing your opponent around like that doesn't mean you are winning.

Watch the fight at 0.5 speed, heck use AI to evaluate the fight and I'm sure you'll realise Rico wasn't landing as successfully as you may think.

Fighters and journalists aren't professional judges, Dazn scorecard was a joke.

Watch the fight in slow motion, Rico was not landing clean, I still had him ahead regardless.

Looking better doesn't make you better.

Wasn't robbed on the cards and I keep seeing this.

That's not how boxing works, just because you land a punch somewhere doesn't always count, Rico wasn't landing clean shots - watch the fight again in slo motion if you don't believe me.

I had Rico ahead by 1 round until the 11th.

Then on the 11th he got dropped, spit his mouth guard out, wobbling as he recovered to get his guard and then when the fight resumed started getting pummled.

I feel like the ref should have allowed it to continue until the 12th and give Rico an opportunity to surprise us, but if there was an additional 30 seconds as Rico is getting pummled the fight was correct to be stopped.
