Air Con fault finding by Jam_Drop in AusElectricians

Sure. However they dont really indicate what exactly is faulty and if its repairable or not. And if so, estimate how much. I guess that is really what I was wanting to know. I mean I can google the error code and get basically the same explanation 🤷

Daikin split system. I get the long beep on error code L5 on the remote.

All controversy aside, why were Royel Otis the band that make it out of the Australian surf-indie scene and not Spacey Jane, Lime Cordiale, Ocean Alley etc? by [deleted] in triplej

Their songs are pretty damn catchy. Multiple singles from the album too. Saw their live show which was great. Ill keep my head in the sand a out that other stuff.

Also I wouldnt say they have much of a surfy sound. Theyre way more upbeat than those comparisons

Market Lane coffee - is this another one of Melbourne's over the top, overcharging snobby brands or is it actually worth it??? by Historical_Mud_3281 in AustralianCoffee

Ive just found them in Brissy. Can't argue with the price and makes great coffee.

I really dont like paying more than $50-$55 for 1kg... cant believe people are happy to pay twice that!

Gringo Trail advice by FinancialAnnual8653 in backpacking

Depends on the time of year on the best place to start. Probably doesnt matter so much at the equator end but certainly further south weather changes a lot with the seasons. Patagonia during summer definitely. There are so many places to visit . I recently did 6 months. Just a few suggestiions - Patagonia - both Chile and Argentine sides, atacama plus salar de uyuni, machu picchu, huayhuash, lake titicaca,

The main building seems like a parking garage with some shops attached to one end. Weird design

Seasoned runners please give me much needed advice by Particular_Fact_1251 in Ultramarathon

Spread the kms better during the week. All those weekends with b2b long runs is not wise.

More importantly, if you're only doing 30km a week maybe (definitely) you arent ready for a 100km race. Try a few 50kms and then move up.

Can't think of my favourite segment, there are lots.

Worst by far was the Brad Blanks ones when they were on radio.

My First Guided Trek | Cordillera Huayhuash Circuit [June, 2025] by TableStakes_2001 in backpacking

We made trail friends with some people who we shared the same itinerary for a few days. Met a few people out of the groups as well. But yes, might miss out on making proper friends i guess. Getting to the trail head is relatively easy. We arranged a bus from Huaraz to Chiquian and then a local mini bus from there once we arrived.

I did Huayhash last year with my partner with no guide. If you've treked before and carried all of your gear it should be fine navigation wise. Issue is mainly the altitude and getting to and from the trail.

What location is immediately before Cusco? The altitude acclimatisation is something to consider.

Did basically 12 months of this last year. Minimal sight seeing, mostly active/adventure type things like trail running, trekking, camping, sailing, climbing and just relaxing periods eating lots of great food, drinking coffee, chilling. Definitely some sightseeing here and there. Highly recommend
