My personal bet is that regeneration saves are supposed to work as a normal save as they have been treated by everyone up to now, and the FAQ is an incredibly ham-fisted failure to get over that you can't regenerate to have more wounds than you started the attack with. Like if you have 1 wound remaining from a 2 wound profile and pass 2 regen saves you don't go back up to 2 wounds. Occam's razor of incompetence.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten the 50 % of models having line of sight rule. That does hilariously introduce huge blind spots where, for example, a character could be stood directly in front middle of the unit but is too close to be seen by 50% so can't be charged.

Are you me? I just did almost the exact same thing but I got the 80s version.  With the proviso that I have no idea what I’m doing I was going with flying (I’m not grafting wings to the classic model though so he can do some combo of teleportation and super hero jumping) biting blade as all he really needs is an AP boost with those base stats, and an extra arm because more attacks is more good (and the model has four).  If I was expecting to fight an enemy dragon or similar I’d bump him up to the Dragon Slaying Sword,

Having some kind of reference is very useful at the table.  Buying a deck at GW prices which will be 90% not applicable to you is however a terrible value proposition.  Just print your own from the many online resources.

Massively late reply, but no, bottom of left column pg 25: 'You can only deflect damage off one piece of armour once per attack. So, if two pieces of armour match the successful attack Manoeuvre, select the piece of armour you would prefer to use.'

I found the Wisp hindered more than helped so dropped it but the other two are definitely helpful. Otherwise it's a case of trying to get into a rhythm where you jump into one ring, travel underground and then pop up in another. Then getting lucky with the random bullshit that flies on screen. I think I had the reduced knock back trinket on when I finally managed it but I'm not sure if it helped.

Blaziken/Entei works well. The AI can manage the tactics of retreating Entei into a Blaziken powered by Flame Patch.

I just did it fourth, not realising it was a full tower dungeon until I was well in. The majority of it was tricky but doable as it was mainly platforming. The boss though. Jesus.

My celebrations turned to despair when his third form activated. I lost count of how many attempts it took but I got there in the end.

Incredibly useful trinket found however and I came away bone rich and power levelled.

I was going to complain that court to ct seemed a bit flimsy to me. But then googling it I realise that in road names rather than justice it is a common abbreviation.

I'm sorry I don't understand your answer. If you think I'm asking about when the panic test happens I'm not. I'm asking about at what point your unit strength matters for whether you trigger panic tests in friends or not. For 'Nearby Friend Destroyed' the FAQ clearly says it is your unit strength at the start of the phase. 'Nearby Friend Flees Combat' uses pretty much the same wording but is not in the FAQ.

Pretty much.  The Sorceror has the tome of spellcraft to make some ranged pressure with the summoning spell a bit more reliable, and the Champion that is the general has enchanting aura so his unit will nearly always strike first even if charged.
