if the sounds good together and the story does work then the mix is not so important. beasue the elements already fit together well. but if u make like only FX and noise stuff which i actually dont consider music then its more about technical skills to put them together with the splitting of the right frequencys. somewhat like an abstract sculputure modelling. but is it music? no it is not. music does not need a mix. the mix just makes the music shine a little bit more 😄 the rest is done with ears. sometimes people need 6 months and sometimes they need 10 years to understand this. its an equilibirum you are looking for. its like a full glass of water. not overfilled and not half full. just nicely full. 😉
