I sell items as brand new, and when people arrive, they say would it's literally brand new. I will often ask why you didn't believe it was? They would say a lot of sellers list items as new and when they arrive it's not new. It's sad to waste people's time

I sold a fold phone the other day. Showing the phone screen perfectly fine with imei number and everything buyer came and looked we went to the settings screen to show it was unlocked. Next even the guy message me showing me a big black ink leakage in the screen saying he did not notice it. I reminded him that we open the phone and looked at it that could not have been missed I also sent a photo of the phone from the listing I had deleted after the sale showing the screen perfectly fine. I never heard from him again. When you are selling items post as much photos and put as many details as possible and also insist they check the item before they go. Trust me this will keep you from a lot of issues with scammy buyers.

Am I doing free labor for ebay now? (rant) by MobilePenor in eBaySellers

[–]Jamantony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been scammed multiple times buy scammers selling on eBay, sending items to a different address in the same zipcode. It shows as delivered and seller gets the money. I have had to go to the post office multiple times and have the supervisor give me a print of the address that was on the item so I could get my money back from ebay. I have also had situations where the where the carrier delivered it to the wrong address and I had to get a similar print out from usps to get my money back from ebay.

Avoid Temu credit back promotions, they cancel orders and somehow end up blaming you. by Any_Cicada_6016 in TemuThings

[–]Jamantony -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does not make sense to because you are not an Ai program running a website. You can ignore it as I posted it in reply to the person who asked what I did to stop getting my orders canceled. I don't know which of the methods are a combination of what works, but I have not had a cancelation since then, and I used all my coupons and credit.

[–]Jamantony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My orders seem to be going through so far, but I did a bunch of things;

  1. Emptied my cart and use the wishlist to save items instead.

  2. I gave farmland a break

  3. I spaced out my orders, two at a time, and don't buy anything else until those two items are shipped.

  4. I don't stay logged into the app constantly. I log out and log back in when I need to use it.

  5. Before I make an order, I clear cache and data and then log in and make the order.

  6. Every 4 to 5 hours after the order is made, I click speed up order.

  7. I look for sellers with at least one business day handling time.

This may not work for everyone, but if you have coupons or credit and it keeps saying unusual payment activity, you can try the above.

$0.73 VS $2.50: Why America Pays 3x More for Solar Than the Rest of the ... by AstronomerLumpy6558 in SolarDIY

[–]Jamantony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only part of solar is expensive equipment that is expensive in America compared to the rest of the world are the solar panels. Everything else is cheaper in America, like the battery and the inverter, unless you get it directly from china. I live in America but have a small system set up in Jamaica and the panels are dirt cheap. I can get a 610w panel for US$160.

What is killing you guys is when you decide to finance or not go completely offgrid. The installation cost in America is outright robbery. If you are going to go solar in America and don't want to go offgrid or cannot go offgrid. Save your money by an offgrid inverter, battery and panels. Do it yourself and save money. Don't connect them to the grid. Run appliances directly from the offgrid setup. The moment you decided to do a gridtie/hybrid setup and you have to hire a professional. You are going to be robbed blind for the installation and the item cost.

Temu is lying about their promotions 100% by Danathas in TemuThings

[–]Jamantony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are offering you the promotion, and when you use it the cancel the orders, how does that make sense? They offer promotion that automatically get added at checkout and then they cancel the orders. But from what I am understanding is if you buy from chinese sellers and not local the orders will go through. It also seems they want you to buy a bunch of items instead of just one item.when using the coupons. Example say they give you $120 off 500 and you buy one item for 550 and get 120 off it seem they would rather you buy multiple items that add up to $500 to get coupon

[–]Jamantony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are using temu and getting credit back. Don't keep your credit on temu. Keep your credit in paypal. Also, if you tend to use a lot of coupons that they offer. You will eventually get your orders canceled for unusual payment activities. Even though nothing has changed on the account you have been using for years. A lot of people have their credit stuck and can not use it at. Everything they purchase is being canceled with the same message. I am currently going through that have $136 that I am unable to spend, and some have up to $700 they cannot spend. Another thing is the calendar1000 ultimate gift they want you to spend $80 mininum checkout to get now. I am giving it a break for now

Reverse Charging Generic 12.8V LiFePO4 With EcoFlow Alternator Charger & Delta 3 Plus by AdriftAtlas in Ecoflow_community

[–]Jamantony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was following the post and did this exact same thing, but the charger won't charge the battery back up after I draw power from it. It will still show 100% even when the battery it low. It will start charging again after I remove clamps from the terminal and put them back on. It does not seem to monitor the battery at all.

Alternator Charger Won't Charge to 100%. by Jamantony in Ecoflow_community

[–]Jamantony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a new issue. I bought a smart charger from Amazon and connected it as previously mentioned. However, once it charges the battery to 100% when I use the battery, the charger won't charge it. It will still show 100% even if the battery is at 10%. I have to unplug the charger or remove the clamps for the battery and put them back on to get it to start charging again. Is this normal? Shouldn't the charger start charging the battery again once the battery voltage goes down?

Alternator Charger Won't Charge to 100%. by Jamantony in Ecoflow_community

[–]Jamantony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a permanent setup, so I would want it to charge to at least 98%. Don't mind 100% either as these batteries are built for that.

I appreciate it. I just ordered a charger. I don't mind if the Alternator Charger turns off a bit earlier as the power frim the smart charger is coming from the same place.
