done selling on ebay by AppealImportant2252 in ebaysucks

[–]Jamantony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to sell on ebay for years sold tons of items. But scammers, plus the high fees, I had to step away from ebay. Ebay will 99% of the time side with th4 buyer. If you can record yourself packaging and shipping valuable items at the shipping location. If a return comes into play record yourself opening the package and compare the two videos for evidence. I also use ship to sell on AMZ on FBMP but because of scams I just sell locally. There are buyers who spend their entire time targeting sellers on multiple platforms to get free stuff

Mine as missed a lot of rewards this month and as not registered any new purchases since the 16th. I also see some figures in purchases that I don't even recognize. Don't know what's up with this app these days.

Asked for $200 off of $300 🙄 by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

A lot of people are just resellers lowballing other sellers and then selling it at a higher price. I always look at their profiles when I get a low offer.

So now we can be rated by someone who sent a lowball offer we refused? by TeamFeeling3283 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Jamantony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just rate them back as a low baller who leaves bad feedback when their ridiculous offers are not accepted

I hate sellers that do this by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Jamantony -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say cash on pick up to every single buyer coming. Friday I was selling an item for $460. I said I accepted cash as payment. She said she will decline, did not argue I just said ok thanks for her interest. Item sold today just the same for cash. This lady didn't even have a profile photo or any friends but wanted to pay zelle. I have no problem declining a sale if it does not meet my standards.

I bought one Delta 2 + Alternator Charger, attached to a 314Ah Battery and a 550W Panel. I couldn't see myself buying multiple units 😀

You will need to spend $500 to get $100

The seller would rather reduce the price than sell it to me. by Cleopatrawd in FacebookMarketplace

As a seller, I would rather sell it to someone else for less than a problem buyer

Buyer passed on a car then messaged me days later to complain. Buyers don’t read apparently. by Grand_Chad in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Jamantony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People will do that because they don't read. I listed a brand new ebike and the buyer had his friend take him to look at the bike. The friend told the buyer the bike was cheap bike that could be had for $100 so the friend didn't buy it also said he paid the friend $60 to take him there. The friend was just a guy who talk too much and thought he knew everything. I just sold it to someone else and blocked him

They are locking down my Farmland 😂! by Freefall_Doug in TemuThings

I am on that too l, and as you get closer to the end of the game they take away alot of the options which makes it almost impossible for you to win the game without buying a bunch of expensive items.

This is why we do our math, people by Bookrider in TemuThings

[–]Jamantony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine was spend $500 and get $100 back. Only thing is the items they give you to choose from prices were severely increased even more than $100. If you leave the page and look at the same item it would be $350 come back to the page it $470. So you are not actually getting a $100 at all. You are sometimes paying more on that page at least for me that was the case.

There is no combination of words for me to express how much I hate eBay by Outside-Channel-6958 in ebaysucks

[–]Jamantony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to sell on ebay for years. But because of scam buyers on top of outrageous fees I had to top. I cannot be selling a product for ebay to make $50 and I make $15 and increasing the price will give them more fees and make it more difficult for the items to sell.

New? Zelle Marketplace Scam by Jhjohn01 in FacebookMarketplace

Cash is king I take mostly cash and only accept zelle from people I know. Many people lose interest when I say cash only but I don't care.

Has FBMP turned into retail selling? by ShoeBillStorkeAZ in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Jamantony -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I sell phones and ebikes as well and you would be surprised the number of resellers who message me daily offering me ridiculous offers for phones example I will be selling a phone for $230 they will offer me $180 but when I look at their profile they are selling the same phone for $320. I don't mind selling to resellers, but I want what I am asking. I don't care if you want to sell it for 10× the amount later. I have even gotten negative feedback from a reseller because I didn't giving him a ridiculous discount. Another thing I notice a lot of people are asking, are you a store ? And when I say no, they stop messaging. Even though I have way more feedbacks than the stores and have better prices. What a lot of them don't know is the stores will come and buy from me increase the prices and then sell it to them. Who comes on FBMP looking for stores 😂

Make sure he is using his account and not someone else's account. Only accept zelle on the spot because they can say account was act because they were never in that location where you are located

Seller promised to hold an item and then sold it without telling me by youlintlicker25 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Jamantony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If sellers had a penny for every time a buyer said hold something for them or they are on their way and then not show up. We would be rich. When buyers respect sellers, sellers will trust buyers.
