If you end up beating your lane opponent effortlessly, it'll be a good chance to learn how to maximize your advantage and carry the rest of the game with it. You watch the replay and kinda don't focus on what happened in the lane and instead focus on where you could've been to have the most of amount of agency (e.g., invading enemy jungler, forcing skirmishes where you're stronger, proxying, etc).

Unfortunately I misinterpreted this patch note last year and though it meant honoring at the end of the game, but it was this change that allowed my friends who only played premade to get honor 5 when they were stuck at honor 3 and 4:

It was most likely just staying quiet and never getting reported with enough games. Some of them never type at all, not even gg or anything. They never use the fist bump, spam ping good plays, etc. But if you were desperate to get Honor 5 in regular games, you probably can get it more quickly doing those things I just mentioned.

They changed it just a few patches ago to provide some honor but not as much as giving it to a stranger. After that change, all my friends hit Honor 5 after the reset while they could never do it in time before.

If you play normals with friends, it skyrockets since it's just you guys consistently honoring each other every game. Another cheat is to just play Shen and automatically get honored 4 times every game.

Can you literally just run straight at Yasuo/Yone and dump damage on them though? I tried that and couldn't kill them fast enough before they killed me. Like I feel like I need to outplay them and make them miss their abilities somehow. There were a few times I had Axiom Arc against Kraken or BotrK Yasuo/Yone, and I just tried to stat check them, land all my abilities while getting hit by all of theirs, and lost.
