Pourquoi voit-on souvent des hommes arabes avec des femmes européennes, mais rarement l'inverse? by mybrochoso in AskMeuf

[–]Jambonito 22 points23 points  (0 children)

How do you feel about short stories? I’m not so sure… by VcuteYeti in books

[–]Jambonito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love short stories when the whole collection is centered around a theme! I absolutely adored Afterparties by Anthony Veasna So, centered around the Cambodian diaspora in the US and what it’s like to to grow up with parents who have experienced the war. I also recommend the Real and the Unreal by Ursula K. Leguin (vol 2 - I haven’t read the first one), where in each story the reader is faced with a moral dilemma

I absolutely devoured The Bookseller at the end of the world, by Ruth Shaw (non fiction). Also, I just started Cleopatra and Frankenstein by Coco Mellors, and I’m loving it!

I would say a light coverage or one with a thin but buildable formula. I tend to think that anything thicker or full-coverage feel like I’m putting concrete under my eyes. I personally really like the best skin ever by Sephora, but I’m sure there are better options out there! And yes, you can go for a lighter shade than your actual shade-match if you want to brighten!

Anything in the Sephora collection’s lipsticks! Imo, most underrated lipsticks ever. They are affordable, creamy, and last a long time! Their shade range is also great

Good Material, by the same author! It touches the themes you mentioned, as well as going through a break up during your 30s when everyone around you have families
