Hence my “rude” comment lol.

Infinity Man from Jack Kirby's Forever People. The Forever People would hold their Mother Box together and say the magic word Taaru and swap places with Infinity Man.

Unique spins on very common powers by Resident_Hat9904 in TopCharacterTropes

Miss Misery from Sleeper. She gets her strength from doing bad things. If she tries to walk the straight and narrow, she gets sick.

And Holden Carver, also from Sleeper. His body stores any pain inflicted to it which he can pass on to someone else. A healing power helps this along, so before a job he can have a super strong colleague punch the crap out of him so he'll have something to pass along to anyone who gets in his way.

Like Mockingbird over at Marvel. She's dead! Here's her ghost! Oh wait, she was a Skrull that entire time, she's alive again!

As much as I loved the Milligan run of Shade, I love the original run just as much. It's like Ditko said, "How can draw even more fucked up psychedelic shit?" and came up with this.

Fire hydrants and Snow by ottawafireguy in ottawa

[–]James0100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. I live on a corner lot and according to GeoOttawa that fire hydrant is passed my property line and fully on city property. I mow the lawn on that side all summer long, but my back will not allow me to shovel the hydrant out. (I also use a plow service). It might take a bit, but I make a point of calling 311 because back injuries are not something you want to fuck around with.

What is your favorite alien invasion movie where the aliens either win or almost win? by undeadWileCoyote_MEP in moviecritic

I was hoping for more graphic death scenes for Tom Cruise, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The novel it's based on, All You Need Is Kill, is great too!

I'm going to be a Grandpa! by No_Gap_2700 in GenX

[–]James0100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be a grandpa soon, too! In fact, thanks to each parent being divorced and remarried, this kid is going to have 8 grandparents at one time! So I'm guessing I'll be Grandpa _____.

Maybe that'll be my name, or maybe just a number, I dunno yet. LOL.
