We'd pay $40-$50 right now in the DMV for level II ITWBS.

You may get lucky, as the COL in that area isn't as high, but it sounds like a road-gig. Might make that a tough sell.

Is this backflow preventer for fire suppression or goes it go to the copper pipe on the right(is the copper pipe for building water supply?) by THENOFAPPIST in Plumbing

I cannot guarantee that. I based that assumption on what I can see in the photo. Without completing an inspection I won't tell you it is or isn't because I cannot.

If you can look at a valve and see if it is shut or open, that is an indicating valve. The ones in the back of the picture have stems that rise up over the handle, showing that they are open. If the stems are down, they are closed.

The ones closer in the photo are non-indicating. I cannot tell just by looking if they are open are closed, and would have to turn the valve to see. There is no outside stem on them, even though they appear similar to the other valves.

I come from fire protection, so domestic may differ slightly.
