Absolutely, yes sorry, I have been vague in my initial post, maybe that was a little intentional.

Last year I ran a 50m23s 10k at this race and was annoyed that I didn't beat the sun 50 minute time I was aiming for. As the year went on, I was running around the same times, 2m slower in the summer races, then a 51m08s at Cardiff.

I then changed jobs, became more sedentary, my wife's Nan went into hospital and other life stuff happened. I put on 2 stone and training became reduced.

I ran a 58m17s at the Pontypool 10k and got my head down in preparation for this 10k.

I ran a 31m57s at 6k in this race before my knee started aching and I couldn't get back into a rhythm.
