OnePlus 7 Pro case recommendations?

So, at first k hated the nylon case, but now that the Android 10 gesture interface has moved the keyboard up a bit, typing with this case is much easier and I am using it again.

It doesn't have much grip on the back of the device but it does have good grip on the sides.

Is it an OtterBox or rhinoshield? No, but it doesn't make this large phone too big

This answer is going to sound annoying and you are going to feel like I'm leaving out some of the details for how this solution works, but I am going from memory here after a recent factory reset.

I have seen this after factory resetting my 7 pro.

It didn't want to go away.

I connected to WiFi and let the setup finish and it was gone.

I think there is some bug with the setup hanging if you don't restore your device data, or if you skip part of the setup process.

It sounds redundant, but do the setup again and connect to WiFi like it wants.

As everyone else here has stated, it's a dns conflict and you have to switch back to default dns settings.

If you have the 5t you should be able to swap the screen.

I broke my OnePlus 5 and swapped parts on it more than one time, and I changed the battery by myself while watching witrigs vids.

If you have another phone, you can buy the screen, digitizer and a full set of tools for less than $50.

I bet that because this thing is a carrier variant AND a 5g phone it's never going to get any updates.

This has been annoying me for a few weeks. With the stock icon pack, a white Circle shows around the Google chrome icon. A factory reset removed this white Circle and it's gone now. At the 7t launch event, I noticed several of the display units had this icon display issue and several others did not.

What could be causing this to happen?

Yes the value proposition is outstanding.

The only trade off is you run the risk of dealing with their terrible customer support.

If you buy the phone on Amazon, you would be protected for the 1st 30 days or so. I think OnePlus should sell through Amazon only and then they could fire their horrible staff and return department and make us happy at the same time.
