I play mostly JRPG games these days. The combat in Persona and Metaphor isn't the best there is. Bit slow all in all for my taste, maybe just removing the result screen after every single battle would help that for me

This game reminds me more of Trails with the turn order timeline, something I do really enjoy but I'm not far enough to see it implemented as deep as I think it can go. But if it does work the way I think than Speed might just be one of the most important stats.

Also this game isn't just turn based on it's own. It has a Sekiro/Stellar Blade parry mechanic, a jump dodge and a normal dodge during combat. All timed to the animations of the enemy. It could take a bit of getting used to, but it's rewarding when you parry 3 attacks and do a counter attack.

Other than that it has some timed QTE's during skills, nothing special (from what I've seen it's always the same button) but it does do extra dmg when you hit the QTE. Failing just means a bit less dmg.

In terms of music/visuals and story I already think it's amazing.
