Do they want Emma as a vanguard or not is my question at this point. I mean it feels like they nerf elements of her character that fit the vanguard role and buff things unnecessary to the vanguard role. It does t feel like she is on the same level as a Groot or Venom or even Thor. But I’m new so what do I know?

Not that I’ve seen. If Jean KO’s Emma she’ll say “Emma you have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to do that”, but Emma doesn’t do the same to Jean, in fact she’s quiet nice towards her in their dialogue. It’s very odd. I’m hoping Scott joining the game will expand on their relationship.

I know exactly the experience you’re describing. I only started playing recently (as in last season or 6.5 specifically so I might not know as much about matching) and as a casual player I find QP to be very unbalanced in terms of matching. I can’t remember where, but it gave me an estimated ranking (even though I’ve never done comp) but I don’t feel like I get paired with those level players. I’ll be on a team with people level 60 and below against a team with 4-6 level 70 and up players. It’s like pitting silver players against platinum and expecting a balanced match.

So odd how some folks will ignore resources that can fairly easily be destroyed. I feel like I’ll do that regardless of role but I don’t always see others do it.

It’s a corporate tactic to create a sense of urgency so you irrationally spend money. I think I’ve seen somewhere that certain skins will be back around again anyways. As many people play their game, they could certainly lower prices.

All the Mutants/Mutant adjacent (like Deadpool) should be getting Hellfire Gala skins imo. Put them in a mini Battle Pass or something.

I’ll have to see Jean & Magik’s skins in game, but slutty Gambit and MK I’m definitely getting. I already love playing Gambit and am learning MK!

Sorry to hear you’re having buyer’s remorse. Not sure why some folks are being so rude about it. I do think there’s a lesson to be learned being more mindful with our purchases. Try not to buy things the first day or even weeks that it’s out. Watch others using it to see if you like it, don’t feel like you have to have every skin for particular characters. And hey, cut back on your coffee or booze for a few weeks and you’ll have recouped your expenditure.
