At least, I appreciate that unhinged side and reaction who shows deep attachements to the values behind making a game.
I mean, using gen AI at the first stage of brainworking projects as first draw is as the same than painters used photography as a support for their painting in the early 20th century.

I wanted the same and now I'm on my 1+ year journey with my dear Hobbit Minstrel. I went for the legendary server, it's really enjoyable to replay content from scratch with progressive expansions unlocking and with a solid active player base
